Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Shine Booster Pack Is All About Shiny Pokemon

The Pokemon Company and DeNA have announced a new Pokemon TCG Pocket Themed Booster Pack expansion, and it’s all about shiny Pokemon, as the name suggests.

Mega Shine is a Themed Booster Pack rather than a full-blooded expansion, but you can still expect lots of new cards to collect, and naturally, they’ll all come with sparkling new art for you to enjoy as well. It’s launching on March 26th.

The debut trailer for Mega Shine shows off a number of the new cards you can expect, including new ex cards for Mega Gengar and its shiny variant, as well as a gorgeous new Mega Charizard ex card that has some frankly breathtaking artwork to go with it.

Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s new Mega Shine pack has lots of new cards to discover.

It’s not just all about the Megas, though; several normal shiny variants are also shown during the trailer, including for the likes of Pineco, Dragonair, and Zorua, along with a full art card for Empoleon.

In short, it looks like there will be lots of cards for you to collect in this pack, so whether you’re a shiny aficionado or just someone who likes to look at pretty Pokemon pictures (no judgement), you’ll probably find something to love here.

Pokemon TCG Pocket looks to be going from strength to strength, too; back in October, The Pokemon Company revealed that the game had passed 150 million downloads, and it’s almost certainly racked up even more since then as well.
