I'm curious to see someone create a version of the announcement trailer where the colours are more saturated, but still to a degree that it feels stylistically appropriate.
Then play that adjusted video right next to the original and see what happens. I'm honestly curious if that would improve the visual appeal, because I suspect that it just might.

Very good point. The trainers really matter. It's disgusting how the designer once again clearly wanted them to look as plain as possible. And there's barely any distinction between the male and the female main character, clearly to appeal to the rainbow freaks.

This is one the few times where I would just urge everyone to wait for the final finished product. I, for one, would love to be able to dive underwater again. Actually, diving and seeing the actual pokemon underwater would be cool, in my opinion.

12:53 In Pokémon Sun, you could save formats from tournaments and seasons. This allowed you to play with an old format even when the format was dead. If Champions is the VGC home, why wouldn’t they keep this?
If they don’t keep this, they update movesets with each generation, and don’t keep legacy movesets from Home; then you can’t fight in SV Format once WIWA comes out. Because if a Paldean Pokemon loses a key move when linked from Home to Champions after the WIWA update, SV format is forever tarnished.
That’s my point about Linking. If they preserve their original movesets, the Format can determine if the Pokémon is legal for certain battles and competitions. We can Link in a No Guard Mimic Machamp next to a Sheer Cold user in free play doubles; but it isn’t legal in certain competitions.
As for XD. They can’t let it trade with FRLG or connect to Home. That’s because of Save States. Players can just farm Psycho Boost Lugia and all the other unique movesets.
This is why FRLG is a separate purchase. For Home.
The best part of the trailer was Pikachu dropping into the same battle stance Ash’s did against Lt Surge post tail-grounding. And the textures on the land terrain and buildings made things feel more like Ghibli than Earwig did.
Those starters… every starter trio since XY had a clear theme, or were themed to the region. Alola had a circus ringleader, sea lion, and tiger that jumps through fire rings. Legends ZA with France had the Fleur-de-lis, the largest croc population in Europe, and the original purpose of the guillotine.

I totally agree with this guy. I was expecting more, they better have character customization and hopefully they look at the early comments and upgrade the textures. We dont care if the game is open world, bring up the textures and give us freaking load screens!! Like in legends arceus!
