Reminder: Mega-Evolved Pokémon give other Pokémon special bonuses when brought to a Raid Battle. Prinplup has access to this set of moves as a raid boss:

Prinplup’s best moveset in Pokémon GO is Metal Claw and Hydro Pump. It deals 9.42 damage per second, and it can deal a total of 178.1 damage, on average, before Prinplup faints.

Weather Effects

Your top attackers will have Grass type moves, which are both boosted by Sunny/Sunny weather, which works great in your favour. However for your Electric attackers to be boosted you do risk boosting Prinplups potential move-pool in Rainy weather. This will however yield you with a weather boosted encounter! If you’re solo-ing this raid and looking for a bit of help, Sunny or Sunny weather is what you’re looking for. However, bear in mind this is a Tier 3 boss so if you’re out with a friend then Prinplup should not be hard to defeat in any weather!
