would it be better just to get a refurbished ps5 from Sony? I think it’s like $400
Saving like crazy so I can get a PS5 Pro by the time GTA6 launches.
i just havent seen 1 game where im like oh i need a pro but when i saw black myth wukong release earlier this year i got my ps5 in one a week

Why buy a PS5 pro when devs can’t even be bothered to make a game that utilises all the power base PS5 has to offer.
For the money it costs it's not worth it,man. The upgrade over the base ps5 isn't big enough to justify the price tag. It's not like the difference ps4 pro was from the base ps4. Ps4 pro was so good it still holds up now😂😂😂😂. Even as a ps5 owner I still use my ps4 pro from time to time, with boost mode on many of the titles I play could pass for ps5 games because of the boosted frame rate ps4 pro boost mode gives and because I run my entire ps4 games library of my PlayStation external gaming drive, with speeds loading times and enables games to render graphics better reducing drop in.

Because of my countrys (Sweden) recent increased tolls on electronics made and imported from China. The PS5 pro costs 1100$ here….

All of these games shouldn’t even run poorly to begin with like the MHW for example yeah sure it may play better on the Pro but even on PC that game is poorly optimized…
I have the base PS5 but I’m contemplating upgrading especially since GTA 6 is coming next year.
I still have a PS4 from 2012. Thinking of upgrading. Have a steam deck so my steam library has grown, but I’m put off a gaming PC because they’re so big, and the mini ITX ones are too expensive (from what I can find anyway). So thought about coming back to a PS5. Should I get the base or pro? Not sure I can justify the pro cost judging by the mixed bag of reviews, but I might not upgrade it again for another 10+ years!

I’ve had a Pro since day one. Overall I think most games are not ready at launch unfortunately and the case can be made we are test subjects for what will likely become the PS6 but the games I have played are definitely better because of the extra HP and PSSR.
Hopefully this will make the development of the PS6 games better and the console an absolute rockstar at launch!
