I recently got the ps5 slim, I upgraded from ps4 pro and im happy with it since I can still play my ps4 games and I was able to transfer my ps4 files to my ps5

My ps5 slim makes this sound when I boot it up, like an extra beep or a coil whine? Maybe its the fan? kinda worried about it cause my ps5 pro does it as well

I will stick with my XBOX SERES X and the PS5 PRO COST WAY TOO MUCH A So you lay a extra $300.00 for SCEA to REMOVE THE BLURAY DRIVE and the STAND and then spend extra $120.00 to $200.00 to BUY the BLURAY DRIVE.and the STAMD AMD there is no PS5 PRO VIDEO GAMES that make the deal wasting money and time so the grand total on a PS5 PRO is $1000.00 or buy a XBOX SERES X for half the PRICE

So actually the updates for the disc drive are mostly for blu-ray compatibility. When they release a blu-ray or 4k they give it a code and if you don’t update any blu-ray player it will not play the newest blu-rays. So it’s actually always updating. And ofcource all these keys take up storage so yeah sony doesn’t want that if you bought the all digital ps5
I’ve never had a ps5 so I’m gonna get this just because it’s better then the original and pro is to expensive
