Replace Knife With A PG-7VL HEAT Warhead – Mod Bytes (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, LotZ)

Replaces the Knife with a PG-7VL HEAT warhead (often mistaken for an OG-7V grenade). Made for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky from the Legends of the Zone Trilogy (tested and recorded on Xbox One). Installed using the mod.io platform. Adaptations to other consoles (if needed) are welcome.

Mod Bytes is a series in which I simply publish edits of the smaller mods and projects that I’ve been working on. There’s no fancy stuff or complicated edits here. Just the mods themselves. Such videos tend to be shorter in length and don’t feature any complex edits or artwork like my mod trailers tend to do.

The dozens of knives in my character’s inventory were acquired using a money glitch (now patched) that was possible to do from the start of this game on the console versions. This glitch also allowed the player to acquire additional knives. One of my older saves from before this glitch was patched was used in this video (hence the high quantity of knives at my disposal). Dropping the player’s knife, to my knowledge, is no longer possible through normal gameplay, even with mods (see the links below).
