Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE the latest RE News! http://bit.ly/ROEsubscribe – My thoughts: After many failed attempts at adapting characters from the Resident Evil games, I’ve always thought it’d be better to focus on original characters and stories set in the Resident Evil universe, like the Outbreak games. Following a group of survivors trying to work together during the Raccoon City outbreak opens up new possibilities. You still get the Resident Evil experience, without interfering with established characters. As long as the timeline and lore are respected, there’s room for new stories. Movies like Dawn of the Dead, The Mist, and Night of the Living Dead come to mind. That formula works.
Personally, I just want the actual original trilogy done in live action. I won’t truly ever be happy with resident evil from a film standpoint until I finally get that. Hell, even just the first one would be awesome. The “welcome to raccoon city” was an absolute insult to the fans imo

Is REsurrection backed by Capcom? That would be awesome if it was. In regards to this new movie…I mean. Let's just make it canon and good. I'm kind of against introducing new characters. Austin Abrams is rather small physically at 5'8" so I doubt he would be a convincing Billy or even a younger and more scrawny Chris Redfield. I just don't know. I want to like it. I need more information first.

I don't think it can be made into a proper movie, because first of all, it's a very large amount of material and secondly it has lots of fans. when you look RE books for a second, then listening RE audiobook take 6h. RE ha 7 books and how can you compress it into 90min movie. It´s fact that so much important is left out and fans notice it.

I hate to be that guy, but we’re never going to get a legit resident evil movie for the fans. If I had my way with the resident evil franchise, I would focus on character development and story, not just the zombies. Okay picture this for an RE movie,
Set in the actual 90’s, our story begins in a train cart. Inside we follow a woman sitting on the window side, looking out. The train makes a stop at a town, where 3 officers and a man in cuffs climb aboard. The group of men commandeer the woman’s compartment room, revealing to us who her identity is. REBECCA CHAMBERS. She identifies herself with the officers and they explain the situation to her. The man in cuffs is a prisoner, being transferred to raccoon police department. Apparently the chief thinks he has valuable information on a case. She asks who the prisoner is. They reveal him to be BILLY COEN.
You want more of this story, pray I become a bigshot director.😂

Barbarian was a creepy ass movie so I'm happy the director is making this movie. It looks like the two actors hired so far could be Leon and Ada but that's just me. Can't wait for this, I thought the last one tried to do too much fan service which just hurt the film (plus Leon's character was a complete joke).

For the love of god. Please PLEASE don't use the old characters from the games (especially sunnyboy Leon S.imp Kennedy). I can't see them anymore. Do something new and don't listen to the whinny gamer babies here, who have an artistic taste of old shrivelled grandma with fish pu$$y.
A Resident evil 7 movie would be awesome
My first thoughts when the pictures of the actor and actress popped up was Leon and Ada. Would love to see Billy and Rebecca though. Would also love to see RE zero be remade.
Hopefully the New Resident Evil Reboot movie is similar to Until Dawn movie that it shows us New Original characters/story but it takes place in the same Universe as the Games.
