to me this game seems capcom doesn't even know what they want from the game. horror, action, 1st person, 3rd person everything is thrown in a blender. they are trying to appeal to all sorts of audiences. last time it happened was re6. anyway, i expect another crappy game like all other RE engine titles. last time a good RE game happened was in 2009

We could take a minute to acknowledge Paul Haddad. Honestly, were it not for his portrayal of Leon S. Kennedy in the original RE2, that character may not be as beloved as he is today. Seriously. Think about it. RE2 is one of the most popular games in the franchise, and that is partly due to the character of Leon Kennedy being so liked and loved. And part of the reason he is liked and loved is his voice.
Paul Haddad brought that character to life with his voice. Those lines from the game we all remember and can quote verbatim… We quote them, imitating Paul Haddad's voice. He IS the OG Leon. The fact that we are here at RE9, and that character has made another return to the franchise is honestly a testament to the work that Paul Haddad did bringing Leon S. Kennedy to life.
"Hold your fire! I'm a human!"

Paul gave Leon life with his voice. Leon may not be the popular character he is today without Paul lending his voice to give him life.

I've played RE since the start and this game looks to deliver what I love best about the series in one game. I don't feel fear when my character does, I feel it from my surroundings and trying to survive with limited supplies trying to survive the main baddies of the game. But later, I want to feel badass while killing those baddies. This could be our perfect blend of survival horror and action horror! Take my money, Capcom!

Please don’t kill me for saying this people I’m buying this game regardless, but I feel like this was my least favorite trailer so far. I wish they would have shown us just a LITTLE BIT of What Leon is actually doing in this game. We know he’s looking into that cop who was with grace and went missing, be we really didn’t get anything else (unless I missed it) this was just a confirmation that Leon’s here with some over the top action set pieces…it doesn’t really tell us anything other than that. The way they explained it, it sounds like Leon’s story is going to be a B side to story. Like Claire and Leon in RE2. When grace was first revealed we got a good idea of her part in the story. We didn’t get that for Leon other than action. There has to be more to him being involved in this. I am happy we have him though
