Can you imagine the fitness revolution that would happen among young men if they make this game VR compatible?

It isn't sexism to point out the unhealthy obsession with identity politics on WHTV. It is pattern recognition.
As we have watched several profitable companies change timeless popular and profitable IP in unnecessary ways to virtue signal to very esoteric contemporary social/political agendas. Consequently losing billions of dollars and dividing fandoms.

The question should be, "Why haven't any of these agenda based producers and writers been able to create anything equally profitable and widely beloved on their own?"

Answer: because most people don't view the world through a lens of divisive political delusions.
They don't need to see race and gender swapping in revisionist history and story telling to feel catered to.

Normal people identify with a character's personality, skillfulness and self-sacrifice… you know, merit?
The content of character? Not the color of skin or what genitals they have (or fantasize about having).

They recognize something unnatural about every female lacking anything feminine about their physique and character and instead displaying what leftists have labeled "toxic masculinity" in every imaginable way.

It is off putting and gross, and frankly kind of insulting to the concept of actual masculine traits.
Only made worse by making male counterparts in their presence weak, incompetent, or corrupt.

The willingness to sacrifice beloved IP on the alter of virtue signaling keeps coming at the cost of good writing and story telling.

We have plenty of wonderful examples of beloved female protagonists in previous movies, TV shows, comic books and novels that were universally loved and still held up as the sterling examples of great character writing and development regardless of sex. They were just well written nuanced and interesting characters.

The secret to the winning female protagonist formulas was to write women like women.

To lean into natural feminine qualities and rely more upon cunning and stealth or even seductiveness in a pinch – rather than write women like roided out men with a chip on their shoulder and no physical disparity between them and much larger male opponents, leaving them one-dimensional inserts with nothing particularly interesting or unique about them.

Poor character writing and development just to insert a nod to people obsessed with identity.

I still find it funny that the people who view everyone and everything through the lens of sexism and racism and judge everyone and everything accordingly, project their sexism and racism upon the world and its inhabitants around them when people complain about being subjected to a blatantly sexist and racist manipulation of the games and stories that they grew up with.

The only thing more repulsive than the act of manipulating good, otherwise timeless IP to cater to a contemporary social/political agenda is trying to make the fans look like the A**holes for saying that they don't like the changes.

If that doesn't help those on the fence about it to understand why people are unhappy, nothing will.

Most fans adore their mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters and would love to include them in the hobby.

I tried getting my girlfriend into it by subscribing to Warhammer + to watch the animations together, and she complained more about the gross hyper-aggressive overtly "toxic masculine" representations of every female in every series than I did.

It had the opposite effect of being more appealing to the women in my life who have seen it.

So, we see a pattern of successful and profitable companies losing billions of dollars and dividing fandoms over these same agendas before, and we can see for ourselves the coming of the agenda to cater to a very few who cause all of this division and eventually appealing to no one.

The old fans will lose interest once the agenda takes focus over the quality of the IP and those who are obsessed with the social/political push will eventually lose interest once they've reduced the remaining fandom to an echo chamber attacking themselves for increasingly minuscule transgressions of political correctness.

The far left doesn't seem capable of creating anything that appeals to the majority, but they seem focused upon destroying everything that doesn't cater to their unhealthy obsession with identity.

Not trying to be a knit picker, but the deathwatch isn't for naughty space marines. A blackshield would more likely be a space marine who has been in trouble and can no longer represent their chapter. That or their chapter has been disgraced and they don't want to be affiliated. The deathwatch is more like a specialized group of space marines from all chapters who specifically focus on studying and killing xenos.

It is a great game, but thought it was too short and Chaos (again!) was a bit predictable. I was also disappointed the Necrons didn't wake up

I thought the game was boring, maybe I'm just too old now.

I enjoyed the world building but found the gameplay repetitive toward the end

Imagine Warhammer being owned by Ubisoft or all the other companies nowadays.
We'd get a 'sick' intro of Tyranids invading because it's leader was bullied and get a backstory on it's revenge plot. Then we'd have Space Marines 'sick' intro as they jump down for the real Gameplay.
After a few more minutes of gameplay, we'd face off against the first boss.
The 'sickest' part would be when mission 2 starts, since we will have access to the unlocked Pink Space Marine Suit for beating the first boss.
'sick'.
😂

You should try Warhammer 40k total war soulstorm if you like strategies! But play the 1 one, sequels are pretty bad.

This game did a really good job of showing how tank like and elite space Marines are compared to the Imperial Guard.

Just a friendly reminder: all of you excited commentors as well as the author are terrorism supporters and sponsors. Game is made by real life ORCS. Yes, russians, moskovians, orcs, murderers, terrorists, rapists, war criminals, it's all the same.
You buy game, orcs pay tax to Mordor government, Mordor government builds attack drones, kills innocent people in a neighbour country.
You buy russian game, you kill people, is this that hard to understand my dear ignorant westerner?

My only problem with this game is the dreaded Error Code N-14.
I've tried a lot of the solutions but I still experience it.
What's weird is that at a certain time, usually around 11pm onwards, my connection fixes itself. This is good but not good enough because 11pm is quite late. I usually play with my friends at around 9pm and we log out at 12am or earlier.

I struggle with this a few hours in, every level looks the same, constantly dropping back to the ship is annoying breaks the pacing, the enemy variety is poor, the guns have no impact and all feel similar, i cant customise my space marine in single player, damage is really inconsistent.. its just lacking all around imo sadly and i really want to like it

The traitor legions didn't really lose the war, they have been at war for 10,000 years. Abaddon still has the ambition to tear the Imperium of Man apart. They lost the Siege of Terra, but achieved a critical goal of mortally wounding the Emperor.

Titus was reduced from captain to lieutenant (a new primaris rank) not to sergeant.

The Deathwatch is not a penal unit for 'naughty space marines,' it is a great honour to be selected to serve there for them. The Deathwatch's mission is to be the specialised xenos (alien) hunters for the Inquisition; due to Titus's arrest on suspicion of of chaos corruption he served there as a black shield (bereft of chapter markings, or record of his deeds) hence the 'shame.'

Does warhammer 40K space marine 2 get boring quick?

Favatar

The first spacemarine game was excellent with excellent combat, story, everything. As I was playing this game, it looked bland and muddy, so it had to be my old graphics card, so I came to youtube to see a playthrough with a 4090 at 4k. It turns out I really hate the art style. The characters are bland, and the combat lacks the impact I expected. The gameplay feels repetitive. I do not understand how this is a good game unless you're a diehard of the warhammer universe. This game is overrated, and if this is an example of a good game nowadays, I think I'll not upgrade my computer. I'm not going to spend $2000 on a graphics card to play crap like this.
