But if Tom Hanson couldn’t catch the Zodiac Killer….
An interesting rumor has emerged about what could be Rockstar’s next game.
ResetERA user Shahanshah posted this blind item:
About R next game:
You’re not gonna believe me, but noire 2
Set in San Fran
Zodiac killer
Still in the very early stages of development, though, it’ll probably be 2030 when it comes out. Not joking. The higher ups are talking about doing the face scanning stuff again, but making it insane. They want it to be the best looking game ever made
If you clicked through that link, you’ll notice that this post actually dates to December 2023. So why are we looking at it now?
As RealGiancarlosR explained in the /GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Shahanshah correctly leaked GTA 6’s relationship and criminal profile systems, as Rockstar has now confirmed today.
If it’s true, this may be Rockstar’s most ambitious project yet, maybe even more than any GTA game. We have to assume that Rockstar will heavily fictionalize this story so they can use it in an L.A. Noire sequel.
Rockstar is also running headlong into many other portrayals of the real life Zodiac killer in popular fiction. And we’re sure they know.
