The gameplay is basic, only graphics have improved, it's similar to mobile game asphalt, with just the addition of shield and overdrive,
This game can be more if they adapt blur like gameplay mechanics,
Or rollcage, both games were ahead of there time.
Hope someday I get to play improved version of those.

I need a racing game that combines visual customization of NFS, takedowns from Burnout Revenge and Split Second environmental triggers

oh wow a meter that fills from drifting and driving in slipstream and gives you boost? that definitely is a completely new mechanic for racing games. how did you guys come up with something so unique and original? i can not believe something like that has never been done before in almost every other racing game that's ever been made

a manual shift being described as that complex of a mechanic is fucking hilarious

Game is looking good, but the tracks look a bit too repetitive, they are very wide and without any obstacles, i haven't seen any jumps or different paths to take, or tighter sections for more action. which would add variety and chokepoints to have in mind for building a strategy, but the core gameplay looks solid and much improved than the first showcase!

Sooo what I'm seeing and hearing is GRID and BURNOUT had a baby and the babysitter was SPLIT SECOND and the best friend was BLUR. Then the baby grew up and got some of its own characteristics. This is that baby grown up😂

Game Mechanics: What if racing, but with some rhythm game timing, and combat resource management, and character portraits for the racers implied to be part of your team?

As a fan of classic arcade racers: Burnout, Split/Second, yes. I've been waiting for somethin like this for a LONG LONG time. I just hope and pray this game's developers dont cook it into the ground a month in, as most games do nowadays.

The handling and road surface look horrible, everything else looks great. Primarily being a racing game, I think if you don't do collisions, friction, road surfaces, handling and drifting correctly, you lose massive points. This game looks like a 6/10 just from feeling the cars sliding like the road is made of marble.

nfsu1+nfsmw+kartdriver+overwatch. looks promissing after they realize that this "ko" mechanic will kill the multiplayer and gonna have to be reworked.
