SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure – The Southeast Asian Co-op Gem That’s Making Us All Hungry

I live for wholesome chaos, adorable critters, and anything that lets me live out my cozy food-truck fantasies. So when a little Singapore-made indie titled SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure rolled up with a pastel food truck, a giant chicken boss, and a recipe book full of nasi lemak and laksa, you bet I slammed the “wishlist” button.

In SEDAP! You and a friend (or just you, bravely solo) play as Som the nimble Cooker and Gon the beefy Hunter, two besties on a mission to reopen abandoned food stalls across the mythical Khaya Island archipelago. To do that, you’ll need rare ingredients… which means hopping out of your adorable pastel food truck, exploring lush biomes, and literally fighting spicy chili crabs, rogue durians, and oversized roast chickens for their drops.

Back at the truck, it’s classic cooking mayhem: chop, fry, boil, plate, and serve authentic Southeast Asian dishes to increasingly hangry customers before they start a riot. Over 50 real recipes (yes, Hainanese chicken rice, char kway teow, and mango sticky rice are all here) fill your magical Makanomicon as you go, complete with cute hand-drawn illustrations.

Solo players aren’t left out either — seamless character-switching and smart AI make single-player surprisingly smooth and still hilarious.chen disasters feel like pure joy.So grab your bestie (or your bravest solo spatula), fire up that food truck, and let’s make Khaya Island sedap again. Now excuse me while I go reheat some actual nasi goreng… SEDAP! Always makes me hungry.

SEDAP! Is out now!

You can grab the game on Steam or if you prefer it is also available on Nintendo Switch!
