‘Psyduck’s newest costume is one of my favorites in Pokémon GO. The light blue color of the inner tube matches the color of Shiny Psyduck perfectly! It was a lot of fun walking around Boston looking for a fun place to take an AR picture. Sunset on the Charles River was absolutely gorgeous!’

‘Meltan holds the unique honor of being the first Pokémon to make its debut in Pokémon GO. While walking through San Francisco on a work trip, I happened to pass by the perfect spot for a photo of Meltan that captured its playfulness! I wanted to make sure the focus was on Meltan, so I used a slight bokeh effect.’

‘This past summer, I traveled to New York City for GO Fest in Jersey City. During my visit, I knew I needed to recreate the end of the original Pokémon GO trailer from 2015, which featured a Mewtwo descending upon Times Square for a Raid Battle. I decided to take a photo of a Shiny Purified Mewtwo instead of a standard one because I started my Campfire group and ultimately became a Community Ambassador after the first Shadow Mewtwo Raid weekend in 2023!’

‘As a Community Ambassador, I always try to take fun AR photos for my Campfire meetups. Ahead of Quaxly Community Day, I found a beautiful set of fountains that created a rainbow close to sundown. I initially took a photo of a non-Shiny Quaxly, as the Shiny had not yet been released, but later came back to retake the photo with a Shiny! I also slightly changed the angle and positioning to better highlight Quaxly’s posing. This is one of my favorite AR photos I’ve taken in recent memory!’

‘Nidoqueen and Nidoking’s costumes are so simple, but so amazing. The day I caught the Shiny Nidoqueen, Cambridge City Hall was lit up with green lights. It was the perfect backdrop for an AR photo! I tried a lot of different angles, as I wanted to make Nidoqueen seem powerful and regal while also getting the top of the building in the photo. I’m really pleased with the end result!’

‘A giant inflatable Pikachu with the Anaheim 2025 logo was placed in front of the Anaheim Convention Center for this year’s Pokémon World Championships. Spectators were taking photos of themselves and their friends/family in front of the giant Pikachu to capture the moment. Naturally, I did the same, but for the Pokémon included in this year’s promotional art, with Pikachu in a varsity jacket taking center stage.’
