Solstice 2025 Weapon God Rolls

The Solstice event has brought three new weapons to the Destiny 2 sandbox, one of which is a reprised bow with a drastically improved perk pool. Unlike past Solstice events, this year’s summer event offers bonus loot from playing virtually any activity. Drops are a tier above your current Power band as well, making it easy to get T4 and T5 gear.

And these weapons are certainly worth getting strong rolls for. This year is offering an S-tier area denial GL, a powerful bow that excels in PvE, and a decent SMG for players who prefer to fight up close. Let’s go over the best rolls you can get for all of this year’s Solstice weapons, showcasing idea perk combinations for both PvE and PvP.

Festival Flight

Area denial grenade launchers are fantastic utility weapons in PvE, covering an area in a lingering pool of energy. Festival Flight is the first Strand area denial we’ve seen, and it has a perk pool that’s just as juiced as Velocity Baton. If you never got a strong roll from Vesper’s Host, be sure to grab a good Festival Flight while Solstice is active.

Demolitionist and Attrition Orbs is phenomenal for Prismatic builds looking to boost their ability uptime. The frequent tick damage is fantastic for building Transcendence energy, and each tick will contribute towards spawning an Orb of Power. Kills will then grant grenade energy, making this the perfect companion to most ability builds.

You can even use this weapon in DPS rotations if you need a constant source of damage. Envious Arsenal and Elemental Honing is ideal for hotswap DPS loadouts, although you’ll need to use Prismatic to maximize the damage of Elemental Honing. If you’re playing PvP, don’t bother using this weapon. Area Denials deal pitiful damage and poor ammo economy against Guardians.

Fortunate Star

Destiny 2 Fortunate Star

Fortunate Star has received a massive buff this year. Not only did Bungie give it a fantastic perk pool, but it also had its archetype converted to a Precision Frame, which greatly increases its overall damage output. Focus on scaling the weapon’s accuracy, and this should be a comfortable bow for most content.

PvE players should get Destabilizing Rounds in the second column to give this weapon some much-needed AoE damage. You can pair this with either Repulsor Brace for free overshields on kill or Successful Warm-Up to drastically reduce your draw time.

Crucible mains likely won’t have much reason to chase this weapon. It doesn’t have any perks to buff hipfire performance or blint setups in PvP, but you can make this weapon draw unbelievably fast with Archer’s Tempo and Archer’s Gambit. Land a hipfire precision hit and let the arrows fly.

Yeartide Apex

Destiny 2 Yeartide Apex

SMGs haven’t seen much use in recent seasons due to sandbox powercreep. Yeartide Apex might not be the strongest SMG we’ve seen, but it’s certainly up there. This is the first weapon outside of Salvation’s Edge that can roll Chaos Reshaped in the second column, offering a massive damage bonus if you can stay in combat for 24 seconds. This perk also heals you at max stacks, which frees up your first column for a reload perk like Feeding Frenzy.

Crucible mains can run Target Lock to reduce the gun’s TTK to 0.67s, competitive with most close-range weapons in the current meta. Pair this with Heal Clip to recover after a kill or Attrition Orbs to spawn orbs after you land a kill. If you never got a strong Multimach last year, this is a decent alternative until Iron Banner returns in September.
