When it comes to celebratory events, we tend to see some typical trademarks. There’ll be free rewards, limited-time bosses and events, or even a major collaboration. But Summoners War: Chronicles is celebrating in an unusual (but not unprecedented) way by placing executive producer “PD” Sang-Min Choi in-game as a limited-time boss!
Yes, going live on April 2nd this new event will see you celebrating the second anniversary of Summoners War: Chronicles in a hilarious, but challenging, fashion as you take on Sang-Min Choi in a series of event missions. You can even venture into PD’s Nightmare Dungeon to earn rewards such as Vacation Alpaca and Crystals.
Participate in the Stop PD Choi! and Sus PD field events to earn the Employee ID and Project Proposals event currencies. You can also nab some Black Coffee (the event currency not the actual drink) based on the number of repeat requests completed. Earn limited-time rewards like the Overtimer Outfit, PD’s IDs and Scrolls.
The Producers
Suffice it to say I reckon that fans of Summoners War: Chronicles, be they fans of PD Choi or not, will get a kick out of this latest event. A somewhat irreverent way to celebrate two years since launch, but packed with plenty of rewards sure to provide both a power-up and a thank you to loyal players.
