Trainers, it’s been a little while since we got a surprise in Pokémon GO, but today it seems we have the unexpected debut of shiny Salandit! It appears that with the start of the Crown Clash Taken Over event, shiny Salandit is now available.
Salandit is primarily available in 12km eggs, but some lucky trainers have been able to encounter shiny Salandit as a reward from their May GO Pass!

Salandit is a great and very noticeable shiny, with the body changing to a bright white. If you are lucky enough to find a female Salandit, you can evolve her into Salazzle, who again, is a fantastic white shiny! White shinies are fairly rare, so this is bound to be not only a tricky hunt, but a desirable addition to any shiny collector.

Salandit is a Poison and Fire-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. As a Poison and Fire-type Pokémon, Salandit is especially weak against Ground-type moves, and weak against Psychic, Rock, and Water-type moves.
