We’ve been hearing about a new all-digital version of the Xbox Series X for a while now. While previous leaks pointed to a more comprehensive refresh, with an all-new design and 6nm chip at the centre, more recent photos point to a simpler design tweak, showing the Xbox Series X as we know it today … but without the disc drive.
Exputer has obtained photos of the purported digital Xbox Series X. It looks identical to the current model, but notably, the disc drive has been removed and the colour has changed to white, likely in an effort to differentiate it more from the current Xbox Series X.

It has also been claimed that the all-digital model will see up to a $100 discount over the standard Xbox Series X. Some internal components may also be upgraded for improved power efficiency and better cooling.
Assuming these photos are legitimate, then we should see the white, digital Xbox Series X console later this year.
KitGuru Says: If you are going all digital, then extra storage space is essential. With that in mind, I would like to see a bump to a 2TB SSD in this new version of the console.
