It might seem weird that there’s an ice cream shop inside Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion‘s underground post-apocalyptic resistance base, but Snow Topping provides a valuable service. Stopping by for a treat before you head out on a mission will give you a small but useful buff, and your choice of flavor and even the cone you choose will impact the bonus you get.
As it turns out, Snow Topping has a few secrets behind its cartoon bear mascot and cheery staff. Combining the right flavors will get you extra perks, so be sure to pick the scoops that will be best for your build.
Ice Cream Flavor Effects
When you visit the ice cream shop, you can choose to get a single scoop for one buff that lasts 15 minutes, or a double scoop for two buffs that last ten minutes. The timer starts the moment you complete the purchase, so it’s best to always have ice cream just before leaving the base so as not to waste any time.

Flavor Combos
If you get two scoops, some combinations of flavors add a third bonus, in addition to those gained from the basic flavors. The order in which the flavors are added doesn’t matter for unlocking the third bonus, but it might impact your decision of which cone to get (see below).
|

Peach + Orange |
Increases your speed on the ground while sprinting (not in combat). |

|
Vanilla + Caramel |
Increases the damage dealt by the first shot fired after reloading a gun. |
You can also get two scoops of the same flavor to increase the overall benefit of the same effect; it just won’t last as long as a single scoop.
Cone Types
The actual amount by which each stat is increased by ice cream is determined by the type of cone you choose, and varies by flavor. Be sure to check all three options for the bonus that you want before finalizing your purchase! In most cases, you’ll find yourself getting a bigger bonus from one flavor and a smaller bonus from another.
