The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of my favourite games of all time, unforgettable memories exploring Cyrodiil back in 2007 on Xbox 360, the Remastered version is absolutely amazing. Having a great time playing it. 😊
This game is the greatest single player game of all time in my opinion. OG Oblivion was legendary…Remastered Oblivion is undoubtedly the GOAT of all single player RPG games.

Bethesda used to be raw, eccentric, and unpredictable. Morrowind was clunky magic. Daggerfall was insane ambition. Oblivion was weird and wonderful in ways only a team unshackled by corporate overlords could create.
But this? This reeks of the Microsoft effect—polished, safe, soulless.
ZeniMax had something special, and they sold it. Not to people who care about games, but to those who care about content pipelines and quarterly profits. And worse still? The community is letting it happen. No outrage. No boycott. Just applause for the sterilization of art.
We are complicit in our own creative ruin.
This isn’t just a remaster—it’s a eulogy. And the saddest part? We’ll still buy it, and they know it.

I put so many hours into the original game, for there was nothing remotely like it at that time. The intro music to me is like Halo's theme, it's familiar with fantastic, magical memories. I don't play one player games very often, but this game totally pulled me in and had me absolutely addicted. I played this game on both PC and Xbox 360. The only thing I hope they fixed in the remaster is how the map ends on the edges. You can be running across a field and then simply stop. I hope they inserted natural barriers such as mountains or something similar to make the map edges more believable.
Once you guys fix the fps and performance on Oblivion Remastered I'll buy the deluxe edition, untill then I'll just pirate, thanks Bethesda.
i still got the CD box-set of the game, but would love oblivion, skyrim, as a dlc to the new 'elder scrolls 6' that was said to be release in 11/11 2024 but didn't, i got starfield love it, but love skyrim questing and exploration, it was also fun modding it, favorite aspect is the bow over guns. the old world charm, with new Ai components will be good but buy the script from company's or Microsoft to do things like mirror images and reflections, cloth flow, water layering to give edge splashing and rippling effects, shadows, foot prints. look forward to playing all games in one your friendly neighborhood "thu'um master". only 9.6% have gained it on steam, it was only 2% when i gained it.
I waited the entire 24hrs for the stream to start I could not believe what I saw and that it was available I sometimes come back to this man I love this game

when i was a kid and oblivion dropped i obviously couldnt play it haha i was 11 or so and my pc was wayy to weak, parents couldnt afford a new one. i was playing at friends houses, then finally a couple of years after i got a new PC and played the fuck out of it. "what a game" is my literal review on steam. now im 30 and history repeats itself: once again my PC is too weak for this lmaoo
BROOOOO NO WAY. I can finally play the game from all the memes! I never played oblivion, purely because of the graphics. I don't play games older than the early 2010s because the graphics are just unbearable to deal with, it doesn't matter how good the story is I'm a spoiled zoomer that requires good graphics. I'm so freaking HYPED to check this game out and finally check out an insanely good game from back in the day.

Well you know I'm going to find here and speak my piece. I really really hope you all fixed the glitched out quest. That was the most aggravating part of the original game. Having to restart about 8 times to get the run you want and reading forums. Last time I played and it glitched went to Skyrim. Never been back. Until this remastered. I just started up Oblivion remastered.
Why did I know that NONE of the bugs would be fixed. Holy crap. Glad I got this game for free.

The first time you open the game and music hits you with those deep notes, it truly made me so excited, which is very rare. Then the intro you see when jumping in the game for the first time, the classic Bethesda presents… it just made me giddy. Great job to both teams, now I'm more excited than ever for TES VI!

Nearly a whole month where Korea is the only country being unjustly region locked from Oblivion Remastered.
Nearly a whole month of furiously avoiding any Oblivion Remastered related content until I can play while everyone else in the world are happily enjoying their time.
(Even Russians because they are only soft locked and can register steam codes.)
So unhappy at Bethesda Softworks' incompetency and the gall to fail to cancel their region lock even after receiving documents that there's no legal risks in doing so.

I played Morrowind, and was so amazed, i ended up making some never realeased mods for myself, and so AFTER the game Oblivion had been out a few years, i decided to move on to it. And ofc I knew Skyrim was coming but was a few years away. Wow. Oblivion and the dlc's blew me away. Had a decently modded install too, it was awesome. I beat the game once. So I was totally ready for Skyrim, which is my fav game of all time, and also Skyrim SE later which i ended up making a player house mod for.. (shamelessselfpromotion – Meadgreen Court for SkyrimSE on Nexus)
