Check out the latest gameplay and reveal trailer for The God Slayer, an upcoming single-player open-world RPG developed in Unreal Engine 5. This work-in-progress demo has been edited and provided by the developers themselves.
The God Slayer combines elemental combat reminiscent of Avatar or Dragon Ball, parkour exploration like Assassin’s Creed, and cinematic spectacle on par with games such as Black Myth: Wukong. In an exclusive interview, the developers shared that the core gameplay and concept were inspired by the Batman and Infamous series.
Story:
The Celestials, angered by humans harnessing qi, unleashed a catastrophic event known as the God Fall, killing Cheng’s family and countless other Elemancers. Players take on the role of Cheng, a human Elemancer, with the ultimate mission to avenge your loved ones, save your people, and defeat the Celestials to become The God Slayer.

Awesome looking, fighting really great but the parkour does not look fun at all and its gonna bum a lot of people out. We are not gonna want to escape or parkour for the fun of it. exploring might feel long and a drag. Otherwise can't wait to play it!

See, this is what we meant when we mentioned an avatar game: a new story, world exploration, and nice graphics—not some 2D 1v1 brain-dead combat game. The avatar game already has a base to start off with, such as The Legend of Korra PS3 game. All they have to do is improve it. Make the bender interact with the surrounding terrain. I really hope I get an avatar game before I die.😅
