The next generation of gaming is looking absolutely insane, and in this video we’re taking a look at some of the most exciting upcoming games that could become the biggest surprises of the year.
We start with Blood Message, a cinematic action-adventure game from a Chinese developer that immediately caught my attention with its incredible graphics, detailed animations, cinematic presentation, and impressive combat. We break down the gameplay, story, exploration, combat system, and why this game could potentially compete with some of the biggest story-driven games in the industry.
Next, we talk about Gears of War: E-Day, one of my personal favorite franchises. The game takes us back to the early days of Marcus Fenix and shows a younger version of the character during one of the most important events in the series. We talk about the faster movement, combat, environmental destruction, and what makes this new entry so exciting.
Finally, we talk about the return of a classic survival horror game with the upcoming Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake. We discuss the new visuals, the possibility of first-person and third-person gameplay, Capcom’s approach to shorter story-driven experiences, and why this remake has me excited.
These are only some of the upcoming games we have to look forward to, and there are still many more on the way.
