Man, when you put it in a list like this and it's only been 6 months…. It's a good time to be a gamer. These games look this good already and developers are still learning how best to optimize things for switch 2. It'll be awesome to see what comes next.
Cyberpunk is such a good game. It's a game you can sink hours into and get lost. And it's looks beautiful
Metroid runs amazing look amazing, but the story and weirdly liniar everything is bad

After playing Metroid 4 for a few hours now, I will say that the best game for the Switch 2 so far is Tears of the Kingdom. Not even a Switch 2 game although the 2 update is stellar. Metroid 4 is a 9/10 for me if I am being generous. Good graphics, but game play and story get a bit bland as your progress.

No Man's Sky is still number 1 for me. I just got Prime 4, so we'll see soon how I feel about it.
After a frustrating, oppressive, confusing first try, I restarted Cyberpunk… and now I GET IT!
I'm too early in the game to say where it would rank in an all time list, but I can see why it would have to be mentioned.

Y'all make sure you don't overlook Absolum
The Switch 2 is really good like we got some good games like Mario Kart World which I played it and it was really good with all the characters you get to play as like a cow, there's new tracks, a new soundtrack, and everything else it's a good Mario Kart Game I like it. But I would love to play more of it if Kirby was a playable racer with his Warp Star as his Kart and having a Dreamland Track like I would love for that to happen.
Donkey Kong Bananza I still have not played that game yet but hopefully I will so then I can experience people love this new 3D Donkey Kong Game.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World a really good DLC and I have beaten it 100% and we did got some new stuff from it like 3 new Mouthful Modes, a new final boss, a new arena, and new music but I feel like it's short cause they should add more to it like these are my ideas for it #1 Adding new characters to play as like King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Clawroline. #2 Adding new copy abilities like Beam, Stone, Spark, Cook, Fighter, Mike, and Parasol. #3 Adding one more mouthful mode like Refrigerator Kirby from Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards. #4 Adding more new characters like Marx, Magolor, Tararnza, and Susie Haltmann. #5 Adding new levels and new worlds like Dream Land. #6 Adding new original bosses like Kracko, Lololo and Lalala, Kabula, and etc. And #7 Making Galacta Knight as the final boss I mean it makes sense because of the name Galactals like for Galacta and the Starries Crystalized a dark fiend who could destroy the entire galaxy like this would be perfect for a Galacta Knight fight that Failboat thought of when watching the first trailer for Star-Crossed World like this was a great idea but no Nintendo and HAL decides not to do it and pull a trick on us like wow. So these ideas would be cool if they use them in Star-Crossed World or maybe they are saving all these ideas for the next new 3D Kirby Game like the sequel to Kirby and the Forgotten Land. So yeah the DLC was good and I can’t wait for the next 3D Kirby Game probably in 2027 for Kirby’s 35th Anniversary.
GameCube was good since the only game I played on it was Super Mario Strikers but I do hope we get more GameCube Games on Switch 2 like Kirby Air Ride, Mario Kart Double Dash, Star Fox Assault, and Mario Party 4, 5, 6, and 7. And also for GBA for NSO I hope we get Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland next.
And finally Kirby Air Riders the sequel to Kirby Air Ride because Kirby Air Riders is really good I bought it because of all the characters you get to play as in the Kirby series like Magolor, Taranza, Susie Haltmann, Marx, and etc. And not Tiff, Tuff, Escargoon, Adeleine, Ribbon, The Fairy Queen, Shadow Kirby, Gryll, The Three Mage Sisters, (Francisca, Flamberge, and Zan Partizanne) Elfilin, and Clawroline since Sakurai literally just said they're won't be any DLC or updates to the game so I'm sorry for people who want there fan favorite Kirby Characters being in Kirby Air Riders so I'm sorry for the disappointment. But I'm happy that Susie Haltmann is now in Kirby Air Riders as a playable character and I always main Susie and Kirby but I'm glad that she's in the game since she is my favorite female Kirby Character in the Kirby series so yeah. And also the Story Mode aka Road Trip because I know there are so much lore in Road Trip from those CGI Cutscenes with that Shadow Dedede guy which his real name is Noir Dedede, The Fountain of Dreams, and Galactic Nova so that's a lot I want to know about. But I do like all the three modes like Air Ride, Top Ride, and City Trial all of those 3 modes we're fantastic and I played both Air Ride and City Trial with my sister and her boyfriend and it was fun. And I did play Online in those lobbies and they we're fun, funny, and chaotic at the same time. But yeah Kirby Air Riders is one of the best racing games of all time and I can't wait to play more of it.
So yeah this year had some good games but I hope next year in 2026 we got some more games for Switch 2 like 3D Mario, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake, Luigi's Mansion 4, a new 2D Donkey Kong Game, a new Wario Land Game, a new Punch-Out Game, a new Star Fox Game, and a Kirby Triple Deluxe + Kirby Planet Robobot pack for both Switch and Switch 2 with new modes for both Taranza and Susie as well as bringing back all the extra modes like Dedede Tour, Meta Knightmare, Dedede Drum Dash, Kirby Fighters + Deluxe, Team Kirby Clash, Kirby 3D Rumble, and Kirby's Blowout Blast. And also Amiibos for both Taranza and Susie. And also Switch 2 Editions for Kirby Star Allies, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. But yeah Switch 2 is a really good console I like it.
