The Witcher series returns with a new protagonist. CD Projekt Red’s new RPG saga replaces Geralt with Ciri as the playable character to lead us into a new fantasy saga. It looks good but it followed everything from the beginning of Witcher 1 series. Geralt goes into the swamp and fights a long legged monster. In the end the fawn was injured and died. In this scene , Ceri goes in and fights a long legged monster, saves the girl to have her die too. In the trailer for the game. That scares me on how the stories are in the new game.

I dunno, without Geralt it looks kinda boring
I have no interest in playing as that character. It would be much better if they focused on a game with 3 Witchers, one from each school and their ways of solving problems and dealing with the world, or even 3 characters, an elf, a Witcher, and a mage, similar to what they did in GTA 5, or a spinoff of some important character like Vesemir. I think this sequel will flop just like Mass Effect Andromeda flopped, since everyone liked playing as Commander Shepard in the original trilogy and Geralt in the original trilogy.

PLEASE DONT ADD GWENT CARDS AS QUEST ….I hate that crap if I wanted to play a card games I would go play poker, I dont, i want play a video game… I decided to play Witcher again and the first time I played I never played that gwent game so this time I decided I would give it a try and at level 20 I started so I went back to the beginning trying to play I only played the introduction so I went back and he moved on to the next map so I found a blacksmith, not a quest just a random dude he had cards i never seen dragons monsters i faught and the cards levels were ridiculous 10 8 8 and higher monsters deck highest cards I seen and never seen monsters deck he had ever card monster you can imagine I get 5 points he 30 cheating crap game you guys give the npcs the best deck I have 1s 5s and 8s can't compete get that crap game out of exp quest. Did I mention its the 1st map 🤔 yeah way to op to even compete its like playing Eldenring with a butter knife.

They're going to make the same mistake Netflix did… What made The Witcher a success was planting the seed in The Witcher 1 and 2, so that in the third one, Geralt could achieve the success it did… DC, for example, is a laboratory of what doesn't work! Wolverine's daughter never worked out, and in the end, the best thing they did was bring Wolverine back! In my opinion, if they continue down this path, they'll make the same mistake Netflix did! Of course as a witcher fan imma play this game… just sucks that they abandoned garlat like that.. i hated playing ciri in the witcher 3… now i gotta play her as a main character.. its just stupid asf tbh like tf .. i have nothing against woman ,but why u betray the character wr been usimg for years.. idc if he was looking for her at w3.. doesnt make sense .let garalt go explore and save the world again. It's such a dissapointment that Geralt won't be the main playable character. Many won't buy the new game for that reason alone.
