This tech demo shows off the new Fast Geometry Streaming Plugin to load open-worlds faster, and we see how UE 5.6 handles busy scenes full for high-fidelity character models and visual effects like ML Deformer. Additionally, we see Nanite Foliage in action, which provides a memory-efficient way to achieve high density (and fiedelity) foliage, slated for release on UE 5.7.

Genuinely don't understand how CDPR hasn't learned their lesson. They pissed away all the goodwill that The Witcher 3 bought with Cyberpunk's launch, and needed to spend literal years building that trust back up and turning the game into something that, while now a pretty stellar experience, still doesnt really match what that original tech demo presented. Being explicit here- that this is something they're aiming to do, that the footage is meant to showcase what is technically rather than practically possible in UE, whatever- would go a long way to making it feel like they understood and took to heart the lessons they supposedly learned since Cyberpunk. Instead, by presenting this as a tech demo that they're confident represents the bare minimum of what a BASE PS5 CAN RUN FOR THE GAME (remember that this is 'early' footage, and something that would normally be improved upon during a game's development cycle), it feels like theyre viewing 2077's terrible and unacceptable launch as a one-time thing that surely couldn't happen again.
Of course, I'm not saying the game will look or run badly based on this footage; but this footage just ISN'T of the game.

As for the game itself, I don't expect this one to have killable NPCs or a proper crime system and I'm fine with it .
