I hope this game doesn't end up being $80 bucks we're seeing how they're getting rid of multiplayer forge and other futures.I don't even want to see an end game store at best. i will pay 40 bucks, seeing
, how we're only getting half a Halo game. But I'm sure they'll probably price it around $100 and F us over again. Im not very optimistic for this game infinite was a disappointment. I do not believe that 343 now. Halo Studios can make an actual make a half way decen Halo game.

Well i think it is great to show what the unreal engine can do with a game we know and love, its filler until we get a new game, and it is MS is causing pressure on all projects as they're trying to get that 1-2% extra profit, which is sad, and it is up to developers and the team at Halo to be the guard between games and big corps.

I've always thought that they should stop marrying campaign and multiplayer. Work on a campaign, put all your focus on that, then do a multiplayer version later on. Doing it all at the same time makes both take away from each other. Halo has a notoriously spoiled fanbase that has always asked for too much almost from day one of multiplayer.
Break it up, and focus on one, then the other. Multiplayer taking up the lions share of resources is the main culprit why they can't put out a decent campaign with an even halfway decent story.

Battle Royale will be the final death rattle of the series.
The hardcore halo players play Halo for its arena gameplay. The casual players play it for it's fun game modes, vehicle combat, and it's map editors.
The battle Royale mode will attract a short term audience for initial hype, then quickly leave back their live service game of choice.
If they put all their eggs in this basket it is going to finally kill the series. Likely permanently.
This series is dead, its just dead and its corpse is being paraded around for handouts…
STOP TRYING TO KEEP LIVE SERVICE ALIVE!!! It is a wet dream on paper that is nothing more than an excuse for studios to be careless before launch. Make a good product, put it on a disc and charge 60 bucks a pop and that’s it. No micro transactions, no “nerfs and buffs.” No more free games that that then charge you for progression to make up revenue. Theres a reason the old games were so good. They were finished products that people loved.
Reach, halo1, halo 2 halo 3, odst. Are the real halo games to me, the music, atmosphere, story. Cinematography are flawless. Halo 4 is like an extra dlc to the story of halo. But halo 5 and infinite. Are so self contained they dont feel like halo. So many things happen off screen which dont carry over to the game. Halo 4 multiplayer felt thin and hollow. It was fun to a degree but in a call of duty way, which cod did better. Halo 5 multiplayer gameplay was actually very good. But the way they did the maps was terrible. Focusing too much on ranked play instead social, the progression was also bad. Halo infinite maps were good gameplay was meh to me, i preferred the gameplay of halo 5 funnily enough. But the progression, updates were the worst which is what killed it. Also false promise of splitscreen

You cannot expect Halo Woke Studios, which is made up of just over 30% pink/blue/green haired lesbians who are more interested in pushing the Rainbow Mafia ideology than making a good game, to launch a game that is a carbon copy of a 25 year old game with multiplayer.
Common man we aren't talking about dudes that love the game, we're talking about affirmative action hires that have no idea WTF they are doing other than being their because they check a box.

This is insane. They need to put people who love halo in the development team and get rid of everyone they have right now. Try and put the bungie team back on. Lmao at this point just keep supporting MCC and leave it at that.
The sad thing is, 343 had an easy job. Halo felt different, unique, and 343 tried to copy the trends way too much, they leaned toi far into a COD style of game, I played Halo because it wasn’t like all the other popular fps games, I think Halo’s downfall is because of 343 trying to make Halo fit in with the other fps games too much, they killed off Cortana when they didn’t need to, they made unnecessary changes, like the advanced movement and spartan abilities, Halo wasn’t PERFECT, but it was a gem, and 343 tried too hard to make it like COD, it feels too much like another unique Call of Duty style game, the story was okay imo, but they released their games without core features that make Halo fun, like co-op and forge, and when you launch a game without it’s core features, that kinda tells the fans some negative stuff, like that you don’t care as much about the game, and they just really fumbled the bag with a gem of a game, like Fortnite’s popularity comes from because it’s unique in game play
If Halo wants to succeed, just look at god of war. Nothing is forced and milky. The core focus is storytelling with satisfying gameplay. Ironically, that was already present, and all they needed to do was expand upon it.
The modern Halo era really brought me down until I came to terms with it and reminded myself that I got to experience the golden era of childhoods. Halo 1 released at 11 years old, the absolute pinacle in terms of years to be a child, all the shows and movies, all the new games, consoles, watching companies make massive leaps in advancements. Not to mention the quality of the social life, biking endlessly to and from friends places to play together and drown in junk food. So much easier to escape whatever troubles you may have been dealing with. An army of kids that won the generational lottery and didn't even know it
