Would be so much better without the anime, wild weapons, and unorthodox and tacky magical fake whatever ya call it.
Personally, I see it like this. It's free. I'm going to download it, play it for a few days, give it a chance. If I like it, I will continue to play it, I might even consider the possibility of purchasing some content. And if it fails to live up to the hype from the trailers, then hey, I'll delete it and go back to playing Silent Hill f. Or The Alters. Or Buckshot Roulette. Or one of the other hundreds of games in my Steam, Epic, and PlayStation library. Nothing gained, nothing lost. This game is being promoted by PlayStation/Sony, one of the developers is Netease, which has worked with the Marvel properties, nobody is forcing anyone to play this game. And some of the best games I have played in the last 20 years have been free-to-play games. Warframe, Blacklight and The Finals in particular have been quite enjoyable for me.

the fact that they removed the GACHA makes it a LOT more interesting now.. I would not even have downloaded it with it.. But I'll wait and see what the monetization is like, because those games gives me the hitch with the "F2P" tag that hides a 200 bucks game behind it..

The Chinese are so comically unapologetic copy cats. And not just with video games.
Let me tell you that, like 95% of teenagers and 20-ish who support Genshin-like games in China dont even know GTA, or Marvel's Spider-man, or any console and PC games. To them, THIS is something brand new and will play if it officially launches next yeat, not GTA VI. And the reason the developer do this is because it doesn't care much if this game can succeed or not outside of China.
GTA 5 was also inspired by many movies before it. Everything was already put on films. Now game devs just have to be better than the competition 😅

Ananta is basically GTA Online sprinkled with Yakuza, Saints Row, Spiderman and Watch Dogs with anime husbandos and waifus
