Oneness Labs stated that they acquired shares from Troy Dunniway, a co-founder of Nekcom Games, and threatened legal action against Nekcom for denying their partnership. In response, Nekcom Games issued multiple official statements on February 6, refuting all claims of collaboration with Oneness Labs. They emphasized that they had never authorized any cryptocurrency or financial products related to Showa American Story and condemned the use of their IP for "illegal financial activities."
The dispute remains unresolved. Oneness Labs insists on the legitimacy of its equity acquisition and the $SHOWA model, while Nekcom Games continues to reject all claims and threatens legal action. As a result, Showa American Story may ultimately become a dead game.🤔
Well man, just before I closed my eyes for bed, saw this video and was prepared for the worst. I wake up, watched it, am relieved, but still I want this game in no way shape or form to be related to bitcoin or a crypto currency. I only want to spend cold hard cash for a one time purchase for my games.
That being said usually crypto currency games more often than not are low quality and showa definitely doesn’t look low quality to me. But we both know we have been duped before. So we will just have to wait for the next trailer or update.
The director of this game said that the story of this game is mostly based on stereotypes and imagination. I am very curious about how wild the story can be.
