Dive into an action-packed week in Pokémon GO starting April 29th! We are headed into the third month of the Season of World of Wonders and have a busy week ahead. We don’t yet have the full information for the month of May, but hopefully we will soon.

At the start of each month in the World of Wonders season, Trainers will be able to purchase a new ticketed experience for the Wonder Ticket that includes bonuses and Timed Research, and the introduction of Poipole into Pokémon GO.
But that’s not all – battle enthusiasts can gear up for the GO Battle League Season 18, while raiders prepare for epic confrontations with Registeel, and Mega Aggron in Mega Raids!
And keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Shiny Shadow Entei! There’s a plethora of adventures waiting, so trainers, gear up and set out!
Rediscover Kanto Event
Rediscover Kanto, with a new map update! Search for biomes, and discover which Pokémon spawn in each biome, with an increased chance of encountering shiny Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle!
Rivals Week
Rivals Week occurs from May 4th to May 9th, bringing with it competing rival Pokémon that are typically regionals, spawning worldwide!
GO Battle Weekend: World of Wonders
May 4, 2024, 12:00 a.m. to May 5, 2024, 11:59 p.m. local time. is a GO Battle Weekend as part of Rivals Week!
Bonuses:
- 4× Stardust from win rewards. Maximum sets per day increased to 20. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.)
- The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.
- Free battle-themed Timed Research available with rewards including Hala-Style Shoes.
Diancie Special Research: Glitz and Glam
Diancie makes their global debut in Pokémon GO via a free special research on May 1, 2024! There will also be themed field research with tasks rewarding encounters with Carbink and Mega Diancie Energy.
World of Wonders: Wonder Ticket
More wonders await this season with the Wonder Ticket! At the start of Pokémon GO: World of Wonders, Trainers will be able to purchase a new, three-part ticketed experience that includes Pokémon encounters, a new avatar item, and seasonal Timed Research! Be sure to check out the in-game shop regularly! You’ll never know what wonders you may find.
GO Battle League Season 18
GO Battle League: World of Wonders will start on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season.

Tuesday April 30th 6pm till 7pm local time we have Clefairy as the featured Pokémon for spotlight hour, along with 2x Candy for catching Pokémon.

Wednesday May 1st 6pm till 7pm local time Registeel will appear in five-star raids.

From April 25 – May 2 Mega Aggron will appear in Mega Raids.

From April 25 – May 2 Registeel will appear in five-star raids.
Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Entei will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during World of Wonders!
You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Entei—if you’re lucky!

Season of World of Wonders: Bonuses
The following bonuses are specific to Season 14: World of Wonders:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids with Friends.
- One additional free Raid Pass per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs
- Increased XP for defeating one-star and three-star Raids, including one-star and three-star Shadow Raids
Research
Season of World of Wonders Research Breakthrough
- From March 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Hisuian Sneasel, Furfrou, Goomy, Sandygast, Jangmo-o and Dubwool.
Season of World of Wonders Field Research Tasks
Starting this Season, Field Research tasks that previously rotated on a monthly basis will now rotate Seasonally. Field Research tasks that award an encounter with Spinda will still rotate monthly. For a full list of the season field research tasks check out our list here.
