Developer DarkStone Digital and publisher DreadXP have released the first trailer for Paranormal Activity: Threshold, the upcoming game based on the iconic horror franchise.
What happens in the Paranormal Activity: Threshold trailer?
Paranormal Activity: Threshold puts players in the shoes Daniel and Jessica Stewart, a married couple looking to remodel their first home. As they document their renovation, though, the pair discover that their new home hides a lot more than they ever thought, including potential demonic entities.

Much like the Paranormal Activity movies, Threshold puts players behind a camera. The game is a first-person title, and focuses largely on players using cameras to investigate various happenings in the house. “As they dig deeper into the mysterious house, their excitement turns to concern when they uncover strange markings and items hidden within the walls. The more time they spend there, the clearer it becomes that they are not the home’s only occupant. Sinking deeper into the influences of a dark presence, Daniel and Jessica are unprepared for the horrifying events that follow,” reads the game’s official description.
According to DarkStone Digital (the developers behind the hit horror game The Mortuary Assistant), players will be able to experience multiple timelines, communicate with entities, perform “demonic rituals,” and go through multiple endings, as well.
No official release information for Paranormal Activity is available as of yet, but more information on the game is set to release in 2026, including platform availability and more. =
