Some titles on the PlayStation 5 make their visuals do the talking better than others.
We’ve come up with a list of our favorite graphical presentations that make the most of the PS5’s current-gen leanings, spanning a number of genres and stories. These games bring brilliant visual styles, and technical marvels that make them stand out, and they deserve a shout out for the way in which they bring their stories to life.

Not showing Demon’s Souls on this list is absolutely criminal. By far the best looking game of this gen so far.

There are no such thing as impressive graphics on consoles. Medium to low settings upscaled from 720p using a crappy upscaler forming blurry messes and running at 45fps on performance is a joke. But good try…
I know this game was polarizing when it released, but I thought Star Wars Outlaws looked good in terms of its visuals. There were times I thought the game looked really good like Tatooine and when you are sneaking around some dark corridors. Not sure where it would place on this list, but I think there should have been some honorable mentions.

Great list for the most part. I completely disagree with #1 though. Cyberpunk, Forbidden West, & both Ghost Games are just a few examples of games with better graphics than Death Stranding 2 imo. I do completely agree with everything you said about Cyberpunk. such an immersive experience!

The Last Of Us 2 Remastered might be a cash grab but it’s definitely one of the best looking PS5 games…
Since there are so many titles on this list that came out before 2025, it gives the impression of an "all-time" Insane graphics list for the PS5 generation. If that's the case, Silent Hill F, Callisto Protocol, and Space Marine 2 don't deserve to be on here more than games like Forbidden West, TLoU 2 Remastered, Dead Island 2, Far Cry 6, RE8 Village, RE4 Remake, Silent Hill 2 Remake, The Crew Motorfest, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, and Star Wars Outlaws.
Alan wake 2 graphics are amazing
Saying that Gran Turismo 7 "You might be convinced you're actually at the track absence of a screen" but yet no mention of the amazing free PSVR 2 update that eliminates said screen. God of War Ragnarok when playing the PS4 version on the PS5 looked exactly the same and so that game should be not on this list. Ghost of Yotei honestly looks bland and looks like it could run on the PS4 and yes I know on a lesser graphics. Surprised that Black Myth Wukong didn't make the list.

Awesome roundup! It’s amazing to see how far the PS5 has pushed realism, but I’d love to see “best graphics” lists also touch on visual accessibility, too. High detail is great, but clear contrast, motion readability, and adjustable brightness make these worlds playable for even more gamers.
The video game industry must stop redoing games and think of something new!!!
