The Twins have three unique minigames that you can play in Rex Infernus to net yourself some unique rewards, like weapon upgrades, wonder weapons, perks, and salvage. If you want to get easy loot drops and even a wearable mask that adds a powerful new effect to your guns, then you’re going to want to complete the Twins side easter egg in Rex Infernus!
To access this easter egg, you will need to acquire the Warden’s Blight wonder weapon. We’ve tagged our full guide on the Rex Infernus wonder weapon quest above so that you can easily get the weapon and complete this side easter egg.
How to Play the Twins Minigames in Rex Infernus
During the Warden’s Blight wonder weapon quest, you will access the tree underneath Nyxara’s Inner Sanctum. Interacting with the tree will see you eat a fruit that lets you teleport into a forest area. You can return here every round by eating the fruit again, so once you have this area available, eat the fruit and enter the forest.
Inside the forest, head close to the burned-down house to find a tree stump, where you will find the Samantha Maxis music box. Interact with it, and then leave the forest. You will need to return next round, and you will find a toy box between two trees.
Interact with the toy box, and you will find three toys. Interacting with each of these toys will begin a minigame with the Twins, and we’ll explain how each of these minigames works below so you know what they do before you begin.
You can only complete one minigame per round, and you need to complete all three (in any order), so make sure you eat the fruit and come back here after each completion.
Mask (Hide and Seek)
Interacting with the middle toy (the mask) will begin hide and seek. You are the seeker, and your task is to find the Twins, who are hiding in the forest. You must find the Twins multiple times in quick succession, so keep sprinting and try to find them so you don’t fail the objective.
Teddy Bear Toy (Fetch)
Interacting with the left toy (the teddy) will begin a game of fetch, where you have to run around the forest and pick up different items on the ground. While you are trying to pick up these items, shadow versions of yourself will attack you if you stop looking at them, and they can kill you, so move fast!
Rope (Jump Rope)
Interacting with the right toy (the rope) will begin a game of jump rope. You will have to jump over the rope for around a minute, and you cannot get hit more than three times, or the game will fail. The rope can slow down or speed up, but if you press jump when the rope is in the middle of your back, you will time it perfectly each time.
How to Get the Twins Mask (& What it Does) in Rex Infernus
After you have completed all three minigames, return to the forest one more time to find the toy box again. The toy box will now have the same items as before, but they are glowing red. You can interact with them (once per round) to complete harder versions of the minigames you just completed.
After you complete the third and final minigame, you will get a bunch of rewards, including the Skull Mask. While you are wearing the mask, the Twins will occasionally shoot down a bolt of lightning on a zombie horde that you shoot, so it’s like an Ammo Mod, albeit a tad weaker and less rewarding.
