Uncaged Anthology Bundle Brings Subversive D&D Adventures To The Table

This month is Women’s History Month. A time when we observe and highlight contributions to society, history, and culture by women in their respective fields. As part of that observance, the Dungeons & Dragons community content platform DMs Guild has announced a sale for the Uncaged Anthology Bundle.

The Uncaged Anthology Bundle Sale

According to its store page, the Uncaged Anthology Bundle sale contains every volume of the Uncaged Anthology series founded by Ashley Warren (Rime of the Frostmaiden). This Ennie award-winning series contains original material for D&D 5e, including dozens of one-shot adventures, magic items, and player options.

What is her real story here?

The unique selling point of the Uncaged series is that the adventures subvert various storytelling tropes and cliches around female monsters of myth. These include hags, harpies, medusas, yuki-onna, and many many more. Furthermore, the series features tons of talented women designers and artists across the tabletop industry.

As the tagline says, “Every creature in the multiverse has a story to tell — even the monsters.”

The Uncaged Anthology Bundle contains all five volumes of this series. This includes Uncaged Volumes I-IV. Each volume contains 25 different one-shot adventures for Tier 1-3 play. One volume includes new character options and a new Uncaged class.

The fifth volume, Uncaged Goddesses, provides additional adventures for Tier 4 play. In addition, it contains character sheets, maps, and statblocks and motivations for neutral and evil-aligned goddesses from D&D’s Forgotten Realms setting, as well as setting specific deities like Eberron’s Fury, Theros’ Tharika, and Barovia’s Mother Night.

The Uncaged Anthology Bundle comes in two distinct bundles. The Digital Bundle gets you all five volumes, an almost $35 value, for $12.77. Alternatively, if you prefer physical copies, the Print Bundle gets you $218 worth of material for just $122.72.

It must be noted that neither version of this bundle provides official Roll20 support. That means if you want to use this content on the world’s most popular VTT, you’ll have to do a bit of legwork.
