When Does Wardogs Early Access Release

While we’re only a few months away from the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the upcoming indie shooter Wardogs has been taking the FPS community by storm. With the closed beta having reached over 100,000 active players and 500,000 downloads, Wardogs is going to make yet another major splash when it officially launches on September 10th.

Unlike the previous beta tests that were only available to those who had pre-ordered Wardogs ahead of release, its early-access build will be the first official launch of the FPS game in just under 24 hours, which will be available exclusively through Steam.

Wardogs Global Release Times

Officially announced on the Wadrogs X account, players will know exactly when they’ll be able to access Warzone’s latest early-access build when the global release goes live at 16:00 UTC, which translates into the following regional times.

In addition to the global release times, the developers of Wardogs have already made the game available for pre-download ahead of its official release, allowing you to jump into the early access build and start engaging in its massive 100-player battles the minute it goes live in your region.

Although there’s still no word on when Wardogs will be arriving on consoles, the developers have previously stated that they plan to at some point in the future, which will likely coincide with the 1.0 release after the early-access stage ends.

What To Expect From Wardogs Early Access

Aiming to be in early access for one to two years, according to the official Wardogs Steam page, players will already be able to access a number of the shooter’s biggest selling points without waiting for the full release, including the following features.

  • A 100-player, three-team WARDOGS experience.
  • Large-scale maps with dynamic objective zones.
  • Cash & XP-based progression where every action earns rewards.
  • Realistic gunplay balanced for gameplay rather than simulation.
  • Vehicles, logistics systems, and support-focused gameplay.
  • Online multiplayer with proximity voice chat.

The developers at Bulkhead are also planning to release a launch trailer at 10:00 AM UTC on September 10 to get players excited for the early-access build while also showing off several of the aforementioned features.

Although Wardogs will have some steep competition over the next few months, the mix of fast-paced action, large-scale strategic battles, and more accessible milsim gameplay easily make Wardogs one of the most exciting games of the year, especially if the wide praise from its early beta tests is anything to go by.
