Where to Find All Purple Seals in Fantasy Life i

Completing story quests in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time gradually opens up more explorable worlds in the game, encouraging players to search every corner for valuable loot and rewards. However, not all the paths and rooms are unlocked earlier in the game; the developers have saved some spaces for the endgame exploration.

Fantasy Life i: All Ore Locations

Gathering ores is the primary progression method in a Miner’s life in Fantasy Life i; here’s where to find each type.

Upon roaming around the caves and dungeons in Fantasy Life i, you will come across rooms that are blocked by a purple seal. The game will not offer any useful hints regarding them, but lifting those seals is an ability that will only be available after beating the story campaign. Players will need to earn items known as Dark Fire – the spending of which lifts the seal and allows them to explore the rooms beyond. These rooms are full of lucrative loot, from simple chests to high-level monsters, and the amount of Dark Fire required is different from one seal to another.

Quetzal Nest Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

Probably the first location that most players witness a purple seal in Fantasy Life i is either Quetzal Nest or Banaan Cave, both of which are located inside the Capital of Mysteria. Quetzal Nest is a small cave in the northwest of the region. It’s primarily the home of Tunoco Quetzal, a boss bird resting on top of the cave’s roof.

However, the entry to the cave does feature a branching path blocked by a purple seal. This seal will only cost 10 Dark Fires, and there is a single chest behind it that drops random loot based on the player’s luck. So, it’s not a big one, and you can delay it until you have unlocked all the other seals.

Banaan Cave Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

Although Banaan Cave features the cheapest purple seal, it actually offers better rewards compared to Quetzal Nest. To get to Banaan Cave, head southwest of the Capital of Mysteria, and you will find the entrance to a cave near the beach. Inside the cave, you will find a boss fish as well as the sealed path.

Spending only 5 Dark Fires will lift the seal, and beyond it, there are four chests ready to be looted, two in the middle and two in the corner of the room. There are no minable rocks or trees inside the room, but that’s still good value for 5 Dark Fires.

Warren Willow Hollow B1 Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

The Capital of Mysteria alone hosts most of the purple seals. In the northwest of the region, you will find a cave surrounded by a circular garden. That’s the entrance to Warren Willow Hollow, but to find the purple seal, you will need to head all the way to the end of the path and take the stairs down to reach level B1. Take the straight path ahead, and you will reach the purple seal.

This is the most expensive seal in the game, requiring 50 Dark Fires before it can be lifted. Beyond the seal, you will find a Level 55 Luminous Magic Ore Deposit as well as a Luminous Darkwood Tree of the same level. There is also a single chest offering a random drop. A few mushrooms and some destructible boxes are the least valuable loot inside the room.

It’s worth noting that some Shadow Carroty enemies are also hidden in the room, killing which could return a few Dark Fires to your inventory if you are lucky enough.

The Depths B1 Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

The Depths is located in the Present timeframe, and making some progress in the main campaign will eventually lead you there. However, before you find the purple seal, you will need to lift some other path blockers, like a big boulder. The purple seal blocks access to the room in the bottom-right corner of the map.

You will have to spend 30 Dark Fires to lift the seal, and beyond it, there is a boss monster waiting for you, along with a loot chest. The monster is a Level 70 Shadow Carrotella with a bunch of Shadow Carrots supporting it. The boss has a 5-minute cooldown after being defeated.

Lulab Forest Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

Located on Faraway Island, Lulab Forest is divided into two regions. You will first enter its eastern branch, but after exiting the forest, the wooden bridges will lead you to the western branch, which is where the purple seal is located, as well as the path to Spirit Road. You simply need to reach the room in the top-left corner of the map.

Fantasy Life I: How To Lift Purple Seals

Purple seals remain a mystery in Fantasy Life I until you beat the campaign.

The seal can be lifted after spending 30 Dark Fires, and the rewards beyond it will make both fishing fans and woodcutters pretty happy. The room features two Cherry Trees, one Great Cherry Tree, and one Level 60 Luminous Darkwood Tree. Moreover, you will find a Level 25 Big Fish Shadow, which is not as impressive as trees but still serves as good loot. Lastly, there is a chest in the room.

Spirit Road Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

The path to Spirit Road is through the Lulab Forest. If you manage to reach the room in the southeast corner of Lulab Forest’s western branch, there is a well in there that leads to Spirit Road, but you need to interact with the well first.

Explore the Spirit Road carefully, and you will find the purple seal as marked on the map. This seal costs 30 Dark Fires to be lifted, and the loot beyond it will please farmers the most. There are two rooms beyond the seal. The first room hosts two Level 60 Amazing Blue Ore Deposits, as well as one instance of every Anthurium flower variant.

Moving to the second room, you will find three farming platforms, with a Level 60 Wicked Mandrake in the middle. This is amazing loot for farmers. On top of that, it respawns after 5 minutes. There is also a chest behind the Mandrake.

Yohoho Cavern Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

For anyone who loves fishing, lifting the purple seal in Yohoho Cavern is a must. Starting with the seal’s location, Yohoho Cavern is a cave in the southwest corner of the Tropical Isles. Once you enter the cave, follow the path to the room in the top-right corner of the map.

Lifting the seal costs 30 Dark Fires, but if you don’t have a fishing license or any fishing buddies, don’t lift the seal. Beyond the seal, there is nothing more than a Level 60 Rare Fish Shadow. It’s a pretty amazing hunt for those who have made enough progress in fishing, but there is nothing else in the room, not even a single loot chest.

Cave Of Trials B1 Purple Seal Location & Loot in Fantasy Life i

Located on Swolean Island, the Cave of Trials is a big dungeon with multiple levels and multiple exit points. After entering the cave from its beach gate, head down to level B1, which is where the seal is located. It’s blocking the path to the room in the bottom-left corner of the map.

You’d better have 30 Dark Fires in the inventory to lift the seal, and beyond it, you will find some decent rocks to mine. The room includes a few Gold Deposits and one Great Gold Deposit, along with a Level 60 Luminous Magic Ore Deposit. These are the biggest scores you will get from this room, along with a loot chest and a few mushrooms.
