Wild Hearts: How to Play Now in Early Access

Wild Hearts, the monster hunting co-op game from EA and KOEI Tecmo, has released into Early Access. Set in the feudal Japan inspired land of Azuma, you can now start your hunt, with a few caveats. Here’s how to play Wild Hearts now in Early Access.

How to Play Wild Hearts Early

Wild Hearts was released into Early Access for EA Play subscribers, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass members on February 13, 2023. EA Play subscribers get discounts on digital purchases, access to a games library, and unique perks, one of them being able to play Wild Hearts early.

Early access is available on both PC and consoles, and you can play up to 10 hours of Wild Hearts for free; you don’t have to purchase Wild Hearts to gain access.

You’ll get to experience the opening section of the game, learn the basics, and head to the village of Minato, the main base of operations in Azuma. If you decide to purchase Wild Hearts after playing the Early Access trial, your saved data and progress will carry over, letting you continue their game from where you left off.

What is Wild Hearts’ Full Release Date?

Wild Hearts will fully release on February 16 for PC at 7am PT/10am ET/ 3pm GMT. Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 can play a day later on February 17, with the gae releasing at midnight in your respective time zone. While it will not be released on PS4 or Xbox One, Wild Hearts is cross platform. For guides, tips, and more, head over to our Wilde Heart guides page.
