WWE 2K25 Server Shutdown Date Confirmed

We know when the servers are going offline.

WWE 2K25 was released this year, so it might be surprising to some of you that we’re already discussing the date when servers will shut down. For others, this is more or less expected news. At the very least, it’s not going to happen for a couple of years, so rest easy, as you’ll get to enjoy this latest installment for a little while longer.

Like several other sports-related video games, WWE 2K is a series that receives an annual release. There are more games in the works, and next year, most of us might be jumping onto the latest installment. That said, if you are playing WWE 2K25, you can expect the game to find the servers coming to an end two years from now.

WWE 2K25 Server Shutdown Revealed

Thanks to the official server status support page from 2K, we’re learning that WWE 2K25 servers will shut down specifically on March 14, 2027. Again, that gives you some time to enjoy the online features and services of the game. But, at the same time, that will give you a heads up on when you’ll need to make the upgrade to the latest release for the series. Of course, this isn’t the only WWE 2K game to see its servers coming to an end.

Earlier this year, we saw the online services end on WWE 2K23. Likewise, we know that on January 5, 2026, the online services for WWE 2K24 will come to an end. So, if you’re a fan of the series, you’ll likely be all too familiar with these services ending to make room for the latest installments of the franchise.

That said, there’s still new content for players to check out in WWE 2K25 this year. For instance, we have just introduced the Attitude Era Superstars Pack. We’re even seeing some of the wrestlers that were added to the game offer some reception over their introduction. Mark Henry, for example, noted that he was quite happy with his WWE 2K25 rating. However, the Bellas roasted Nikki’s in-game model.

If you haven’t picked up a copy of the game, you’ll find it currently available for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms.
