XDefiant, a new ambitious first-person shooter from Ubisoft, isn’t out just yet but it is in closed beta and it’s not as hard to get into as the “closed beta” moniker might suggest. Getting into the XDefiant closed beta isn’t too tough, and we’ll go over how to do just that here.
How to Play XDefiant Closed Beta
Simply put, if you want to join the XDefiant closed beta, you can do so by following these steps:
- Go to XDefiant closed beta webpage.
- Click on the “Check Your Status” button on the main page.
- Log-in using your Ubisoft credentials, or register if you haven’t done so yet.
- Select your platform: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
That’s it! Now you just need to wait before the e-mail with your personal XDefiant beta test code arrives to your inbox with instructions on how to proceed. Be sure to check your e-mail at least once a day, as you never know how soon you can get this code.
If you don’t want to wait for too long, then you can speed up this process by doing the following:
- Go to your Twitch account.
- Select “Dashboard” settings option.
- Click on “Viewer Rewards” tab.
- Toggle on the “Drops” feature.
- Watch any XDefiant streamer on Twitch for at least 30 minutes with your Twitch Drops turned on.
If you’ve done everything right, you should get an email granting you XDefiant closed beta access soon enough. You can redeem it on the official site by:
- Go to XDefiant closed beta webpage.
- Log-in using your Ubisoft credentials.
- Select your platform: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
- Enter your personal XDefiant beta test code.
- Press “Submit My Code” button.
You’ll receive another e-mail with instructions to download and play the game from the Ubisoft Connect app on PC or Ubisoft Connect on consoles.
