Zweilous
Zweilous is a Tier 3 raid boss. The ideal recommended group size is 1-3 for well-prepared trainers. Make sure you are armed with the correct movesets for your counters. With Party Play, you can ensure you have the edge throughout this special Raid Day event by using Party Power.
Zweilous cannot be shiny from raids.
Zweilous can be caught in the following CP range:
- 990 CP to 1051 CP at Level 20, no weather boost
- 1238 CP to 1313 CP at Level 25, weather boosted during Fog and Windy weather.
Zweilous is a Dark Dragon type Pokémon, with weaknesses to Fairy, Bug, Dragon, Fighting and Ice–typed moves.
Since Shadow Pokémon are extremely expensive to power up and require specific events to remove Frustration with a Charge TM, they will NOT be listed as raid counters in this article. That being said, if you have the shadow form of a listed raid counter Pokémon powered up and TMed, use it.
Reminder: Mega-Evolved Pokémon give other Pokémon special bonuses when brought to a Raid Battle. While a Mega-Evolved Pokémon is on the battlefield, all Trainers’ Pokémon receive an attack boost to all their attacks and gain an additional attack boost if their attack types match the Mega-Evolved Pokémon’s type(s).

Zweilous has access to this set of moves as a raid boss:
Zweilous’s best moveset in Pokémon GO is Bite and Dark Pulse, with 10.50 damage per second, and it can deal 208.7 damage before Zweilous faints. This is true when battling in neutral weather.
Your top attackers will likely have Fairy or Fighting type moves, which are both boosted by Cloudy weather, which works great in your favour. If you’re solo-ing this raid and looking for a bit of help, Cloudy weather is what you’re looking for. However, bear in mind this is a Tier 3 boss so if you’re out with a friend then Zweilous should not be hard to defeat in any weather!
