007 First Light is an upcoming action-adventure game developed and published by IO Interactive. Based on the James Bond franchise, it will tell an original narrative inspired by the novels and short stories by Ian Fleming, and the film series starring the character. The game will depict James Bond’s origin story, as he embarks on the mission he must complete to earn his licence to kill.
Following the release of 007 Legends (2012), publisher Activision had its non-exclusive licence to produce James Bond video games revoked, resulting in an extended hiatus for video games adapting the franchise. IO Interactive announced the development of a new James Bond game in November 2020. The game entered full production at IOI following the completion of Hitman 3 (2021), and was fully revealed in June 2025.
007 First Light is scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S on March 27, 2026.

It's interesting, they copied Daniel Vavra's approach to making the main character look like a stupid child.

Hope the campaign worth it although it’s a copy of hitman and Uncharted
Like when I saw the first teaser & gameplay footage & now here once again, it feels very less as Bond 007 & more Uncharted mixed with Hitman, Watch Dogs and some flavour of The Last of Us gameplay mechanics 😎 looking forward.
I said hitman and uncharted first back when it first debuted last year trailer almost a year ago and it’s still showing the same sht, there barely making game anymore and if they do finish them it’s really nothing new you haven’t pplYed before just a different background graphics and a few scenes but basically it’s the same games all over again with a different name for the characters

Again 2026 for a bottom tier game. Give me as a 29 yr old adult a real playable critical thinking game… to the younger audience give them a game they will remember for a life time.

I was going to say that they should of had naughty dog work on this. I always thought that charted could be modded to be a 007 game
