Gamescom 2026 delivered some HUGE surprises, and in this video we’re taking a look at 10 of the biggest new game reveals and showcases that stood out the most, including Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, The Witcher 3, and more major upcoming games for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
One of the biggest highlights was the return of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with CD Projekt Red revealing the new Remastered version alongside gameplay from the upcoming Songs of the Past expansion, bringing Geralt back for another adventure. Gamescom also gave us another look at Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, bringing the world of Westeros back to gaming with massive battles, familiar houses and the brutal fantasy setting of Game of Thrones.
Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 was packed with new announcements, gameplay trailers and surprises, from massive fantasy RPGs and medieval games to action, horror and open-world experiences, these are the Gamescom 2026 games that caught my attention the most and some of the upcoming releases I’m most excited to play.
