I remember when MS bought Mindcraft and all of the trolls claimed they over paid for a game and would never make back their money. Meanwhile Mindcraft continues bto sell along with merchandise, side games and movies. Just goes to show MS knows what there doing and the trolls don't behave a clue.

I remember Dawn of the Dragon for its variety in elemental breath abilities, kinda free flight, ground and aerial combat, and melee complete with grappling. All really awesome ingredients for a dragon game that I hope to see return in this one, but in a far more polished, organized, and versatile state.
Honestly, the Reignited Trilogy was a one-time thing for me (I only got the PC version afterwards because I really wanted to try it with that Cynder mod). I never played the PS1 games as a kid, so I'm not rooted to them out of nostalgia. I had NO rose-tinted glasses for it. They're more polished and fun for a while, I will admit, but Dawn of the Dragon has more of that ‘Dragons are Cool’ meat to it by giving them abilities that you can really mix in style once you know how to use them.
In my first playthrough in Dawn of the Dragon with my brother, I mostly mashed square and healed when needed and died a lot, but I just wanted more and to get good. So, years later I learned to strategically mixed together my melee and breath abilities from both dragons, studied environmental hazards and boons, enemy strengths and weaknesses, brawled with a mix of light attacks, heavy attacks, uppercuts, and grabs. Now I can 100% the game with only one or two deaths to my name.
In retrospect, I will admit that Dawn of the Dragon is heavily flawed, but that's the one I wanted more from. I didn't care how big of a departure it was from the classic titles. In-fact, I embraced the changes. It gave me the most of what I love about the series in the first place, the most of what I wanted from it, and things I didn't even know I would fall in love with.
And the biggest tragedy? No other game company has dared to attempt to make a dragon game with this breath-fu power premise since.
Why not "17 new games from xbox showcase"?
