Number 3 – Anthem, what was the problem with Anthem? Existing
Edit: Never mind, you mention it.
The Watch Dogs one is bullshit. They released some tools a year later that let you perform cinematic tweaks to the graphics. I had vanilla Watch Dogs looking at least as good as the infamous trailer. Only problem was, the effects made it unplayable. It was so damn cinematic, you couldn't see what was across the street from you.

Can someone correct me, but those white face mask guys from Dark Souls 2 trailer were suposed to be manequins, but after some law probpems (plagiarism or something) they removed manequin's heads?
Thanks to the modding gods we can play the reimagined E3 watch_dogs which has amazing graphics
Oh BioWare, how you have fallen
The FFVIII commercial wasn't totally off. The boost mechanic for the Guardian Forces was a button mashing mess of torture.
i just dont get why you would make a trailer that doesnt have stuff in it if you know it wont have it. or calling their games 'X killer' the only thing it does is lose you money in the long run
Btw dark souls 2 trailer armor exist it's called Faraam Set
Almost no button mashing? LOL you never played ff8… Boost them GFs my dude
ok, now we have Februray 2024…
the latest CyberPunk2077 Patch 2.11 finally made the game, what it should have been from the start.
BTW: play it guys, with the DLC and everything, it is an aweseome game (finally)
crackdown 3 could of done what it promised. red faction never had an issue with it even on the 360. but devs just werent talented enough
Took me 20+ attempts to run up the dang rockslide parts. 2 attempts to make the first gap and got the train jump first try. 😩
This dude said bondai nomco.
UbiSoft is known for Insane trailers and shit gameplay. They downgrade everything for the final game, but the trailers and "gameplay footage" look so good on E3 😀
No Fable games, I'm surprised.
spiderman 2 is misleading. the trailer shows us both spideys are fighting venom between buildings. i thought we are gonna get a chase sequence or a vertical boss fight but NOOOO!! open football field. lmao
Imagine how good that was, punching venom in the air then retreating between buildings, then he founds you then slams you to a building's window. damn!
Most mobile gametrailers is misleading and not at all like the gameplay 😒
Jaja,the day before.
Dude you have no idea how FF8 is … the your thumbs will get numb is absolutely accurate !
There was this function where you cheered on your GF (basically espers in FF8) and you had to mash the square button so quickly that it legitemately hurt and my thumb really got numb … of course you can use the powerup mechanics of the game against it and so on but this line is very very accurate (if you used your GF)
These are not actually mistakes in trailers, this video itself is misleading and clickbait.
Flying gorilla is the only game that stays true to it’s trailer
AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly AKshuly
8:30 someone hasnt boosted a GF
I played watch dog for my whole childhood and id say, its very good with the rain
About graphics in trailers – it's how the games could look on PC but they need to make it work on console (and with that they also need to downgrade PC version)
How 'bout the arkham city trailer where Batman fought along side with the joker and punches him in the end? Where was THAT in the game?
How about The Division? The game play trailer at E3 was completely different from the game on release day. But that's Ubisoft for ya.
How is Spore not on this list?
they did that to watch dogs cause they scared the graphics would be too much on console that they disabled it on every platform
You missed Duke nukem
IIRC the thing about watchdogs is the e3 preset ran fine
watch dogs on PC at 1440p still looks like the OG trailer tbf.
Can't believe dying light 2 wasn't in the list
Halo 5 was a really bad Trailer.
To be fair, with FF8 your thumb might get soar trying to Draw all those magic spells from enemies. 😆
Aliens CM was actually a game I kinda enjoyed when it came out, it launched on ps3 and 2 months later is was on sale at every DVD store so I got it for the price of a Big Mac, and I have to say I kinda enjoyed it 😂
Microsofts marketing around the power of cloud gaming back in 2014-2016 was remarkably dishonest.
You forgot Gran Turismo 7 – showed a true career, no microtransactions, full game is a crap tech demo
trailers are pure garbage no matter how beautyful they are, because many times it's 100% cinematics and zero gameplay.
who cares if they show lord of the rings minas tirith siege attack if then it's a card game, or board game??
gameplay it's the only thing i care about a game, not cinematics that most of the times are misleading.
The closest to mashing you'll get in FFVIII is the Boost ability for summoning GFs, but if you use those so much to the point of thumb destruction, you're playing the game horribly wrong.
in DS2 there are the masked enemies in the poisoned mill lvl if i recall correctly
My one word response to Final Fantasy 8 would be: Ifrit. 😛
FF8 had the trigger mechanism in limit breaks… you had to press R1 for squall and Irvine to fire…
Remember Me, which ironically nobody remembers. It had a fantastic gameplay trailer where the character traverses the open city a-la Assassin's Creed, with robots and police standing guard. The character climbs on walls to spy on two guards and to steal a memory out of them. She then continues climbing buildings until she reaches her target's window, then she performs the cool memory mixing.
The game that came out was linear. So linear than you can't get past ankle-high obstacles but the character could leap her height using only the tips of her fingers while scaling a scripted climbing section. The whole gameplay was reduced to flashbacks, and you get the memory mixing in the actual game.
Watchdogs is the goat 🐐
I remember a lot of games during some Xbox event was showing off integration with tablets. For example The Division, that never happened either. And I was looking forward to that
you miss far cry 3
