9:00 Halo Campaign Evolved, the game that even on the lowest settings hard crashed my PC 3 times within just the 1st new mission alone. Yeah Unreal Five isn't bad… not at all.
9:00 60 fps in a fast paced first person shooter is borderline unplayable tho.
Yeah yeah whatever
Not sure I'm agreeing with the logic on tariffs, if wete paying higher gas prices because of extra taxes added on that are later deemed unlawful, and the government refunds gas stations some of those taxes, then what's the reason the consumer is the one bent over the oil barrel for those unlawful taxes while everyone else involved just profits, and now has an excuse the leave the inflated gas prices as is..
so… they're saying they don't want to do all that work. lol god forbid they have to work for all the money we hand them
Bg3 sucked balls. I hoped for so much more
7:24 Apparently the answer is audiobooks
That's a good thing imo. Stop making the same stuff over and over
JILL,SHEVA,ADA,CLAIRE
1:14 Da Vinci wouldn't make modern tanks though.
I blame Trump for making the Switch 2 price high. If we got someone else this probably wouldn't have happened.
Why not make Quake in Frostbite, given that it has massive multiplayer shooter legacy?
Hey Larian, we will wait as long as needed as long as you give us Baldur's Gate 4. PLEASE
Ohlen stepped down from his leadership position at Archetype 8 months ago. So that tells you how great that Hasbro oversight is going…
When its an illegally manipulated market, then surely they have a responsibility to refund their customers
Medium where
The Samsung thing is literally the same thing that the diamond industry was found to be doing decades ago; restricting how much is available in order to keep the value and profits high. That being said, finite resources is a thing; however, restricting how much is available so that you can make the most money possible before the resource runs out is the unethical part of this situation. I know it seems like 'rationing' but its not rationing when other resources can be used in exchange for the ones running low, especially in instances where we can remake the resource artificially now, like in the case of diamonds. We have figured out how to manufacture new diamonds.
12:55 yeah that's the literal definition of a cartel and price fixing
My theory on why re5 sold the most is re4 got so many more people into the series over the course of its lifespan, and by the time re5 came out word of mouth had made people who loved 4 convinced people to try a game in the series and if the new one is already announced to just wait for that
And of course, the prices will stay the same
No, corporations deserved to be taxed for receiving tariff refunds. They passed those price increases directly to the consumer.
Idk if it’s just me but it seems like the visuals in the videos are improved like the transitions of the numbers just look so smooth now
I see why you made the comparison between the Mona Lisa and Baulders Gate 3. Both are lauded as masterpieces and both are pretty…meh
Takes months to read one book? Damn, Flacon that's sad lol
Number 10: It’s refreshing that someone has artistic reasons not to want to build a game.
Resident evil 5 being the top selling game was so funny to me lol
No BG4 I literally so much worse than digital only PlayStations. Is gaming dead????
L take about Tariffs. Never EVER side with a business against customers who were ripped off.
I wonder how much of the available storage is being hoarded by AI data centers.
I love howbthe consumer always gets fucked. But i dont agree with you here if they can give refunded they should. You can get them elswhere
Re: How do you read that much?
As the former Book-It Queen of my elementary school, you read that much by getting your required work done each day so that you can then read. Which doesn't seem like it's going to happen if you're writing a game that big.
I mean, I'm pretty sure I read between 2,300 and 2,800 pages per quarter of books aimed at 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. And those books averaged about 125 pages per book, so I was reading about 23 books per quarter during the school year, and about 7 books per week during the 12 weeks of summer when I had no other obligations. So that gives me (23 x 4) + (12 x 7) = 92 + 94 = 186 books. And those were mostly children's books, not Game of Thrones or other adult-level reading.
I know one of the boys in my class got jealous of my Book-It scores and tried to read a ridiculous number of short books that were way below grade level to beat me. I can't remember if he ever did beat me. I think he did once. I mostly remember this scheme because I recognized some of the lower level reading books when I saw his list passed in and the appended lists with all the books he'd read, and I found it kind of hilarious because he was working so hard for this thing for some reason when I was just doing my own thing and reading because I liked reading.
And I know it drove him nuts at least once when it turned out he was, like, 20 pages short of my total.
Anyhoodle, after having done the math, 200 books is insane even if you like reading. There'd be no time left to do the actual job.
If you follow your logic about Nintendo then they also shouldn’t get a refund because they knew the price of selling they’re product and did it anyway 🤷🏻♂️
I don't think Gas prices is a fair comparison, when do Gas companies get multi-million dollar refunds from the government in the same way? They don't.
Prices went up directly because of the tariffs, so when it's ordered they were illegal and must be refunded I can totally understand why people want their money back, the company pushed that additional cost onto the consumer and didn't soak it up so why should the company get the money? If the company had soaked up the cost then fair enough, but they didn't
Baldur's Gate 4 is 100% not happening until Larian is ready to commit to GTA 6 sized project.
For over 20 years now i've heard the repeated statement that IDteck is the best and most optimized game engine in the industry… So what absolute m0r0n is out there saying not use IDtech? ID are still the only ones who use IDtech. They help a few Xbox studios impliment IDtech, but it was still ID dev using the tech. Why in Gods name would you ever force those devs to learn and use UE5?
40 years of profit in one year, I mean, damn!
I love these videos lol
Owlcat should be the ones to make it. Their xperience with old school crpg would make it a certified banger !
3:00 thats ridiculous because they're getting all that money, now its all just extra profit, its theft and every major company is doing it. No one is getting government refunds from gas prices
"Nintendo sucks", best comment ever, however I disagree. You cannot compare a necessity like fuel to entertainment products. If they are seeking to get a refund then the consumer should too.
Your gas price analogy doesn't hold water. The tariff refunds are a unique situation where the government is essentially giving companies a taxpayer-funded rebate on costs those companies already passed along to consumers. That's not at all the same thing as gas prices fluctuating over time.
Nintendo (like other companies) is double dipping, and if it followed its own "you already made a choice to purchase" logic, it shouldn't even be getting a refund from the government — it already made a choice to sell products at those prices during tariffs.
I think reading that much just leaves you with a more likely chance your copying material instead of creating new and original material.
You’re not even gonna be aware you’re going it.
These videos used to be my favorite, but theyve gotten so off track. Most of them are old stories, Nintendo bad, and opinions. Not even weird news.
And what was the news on 7 in this video even?
Bad take on the Nintendo tariff lawsuit. If prices had gone up, then back down and there was no refund (like with the gas example) wanting a refund when you bought it at the higher price would be dumb. But Nintendo IS getting a refund, so refusing to give the money back to the people who actually paid the tariffs in the end is totally scummy.
Wow your nintendo take is actually brainless 😂 never felt less respect for you than now
Bg3 is the most overrated game of all time 😂
RE5 was peak coop couch gaming when it came out. It s RE6 that jumped the shark.
BG3 is so damn good that nobody has the balls to try to make a sequel. That says so much about the game.
I legit have never heard anybody saying RE5 is inherently good completely unprompted. Every time I heard someone talk about the game, it's always "the game is not bad"
RE5 wasn’t "bad" necessarily. Partner AI was kind of unintelligent, and the story and acting a bit goofy and over the top. But, I played plenty of hours with co-op and Mercenaries mode that i thoroughly enjoyed it.
You don't know? The Japanese read a lot of books and a lot of Japanese people like to write stories. The quality of the stories are questionable, but how else are you able to refine your craft if you don't read and write a lot?
