I thought it was a decent event. A lot of people just want to s*** talk it for some reason. Obviously we're never going to get the super amazing ones that we all remember from the past, but we have to remain optimistic, not just for our own mental health but for others as well.😅

Im getting older sure…..but I will not be buying / renting any of these. These look so boring and generic. Every new Gamescon, Playstation Showcase, and Direct. I get less less interested in the games they are putting out. Each one i get a little more disenchanted.

Anytime I hear one of those gatcha devs announce anything, I just stop listening. Rainbow tactics game has potential but ubi keeps failing the experiments they try, Like the infection game, and that unbalanced fps with multiple franchises in it.

The fact that The Witcher 3 Remaster is the best we can do in the year 2026 for upcoming games, is absolutely pathetic. The gaming industry is definitely headed in the wrong direction. Ps5 is the worst console in Sony's history, Nintendo doesn't put out bangers anymore and is expensive for no reason, PC has some decent indie games but basically gets sloppy seconds from console with better lighting, and Xbox has been mid for quite some time now…..prices are going up…..quality is going down…..thank goodness Capcom got me through most of this year……lets hope GTA 6 and Phantom Blade don't disappoint smh….

Am I the only one kind of sick of the imo generic scifi (high) fantasy look of so many games shown at Gamescom? 1001 nights and Elta shown here are examples, but at least Elta has this paintbrushed style which saves it for me. But there were so many more games shown with this style and none of them had any identity imo.
