For the witcher 4 I just want them to keep to the lore
POE 2 page is also up on steam. Supposedly they are gonna do a beta in 2024 so it's still a ways away, but oh boy am I excited. Diablo is just consistantly terrible, and every since POE 1, the whole genre has had the standards raised so high that I honestly don't think blizzard knows how to reach it that they really only sell to nostalgia or casuals
Love the witcher, but god I'd love if they made the character easier to move around. For as graceful as geralt is supposed to be sometimes he feels like a brick. Also I know they have sort of hinted to no geralt, and honestly I'm ok with that however I really don't want a prequel, which I feel like the logo might be implying. If I remember lore correctly that pendant is the one of the guy who saved Geralt as a child. I just don't like prequels as much. In all honesty I'd be down with the game throwing aside all expectations and having you play as Ciri or even one of the mages part way through. Regardless I'm excited, but definetly not buying day one

As an old head gamer, I feel like there are always two camps in the game studio, and when one doesn’t agree it topples genuinely great games. It’s really sad to see, as someone who just likes to play.
Well I'm not in a hurry to play Witcher 4 since I'm just now finishing the first game 😁. I didn't think I'd enjoy the lore but it's a quirky medieval fantasy game and not just grimdark. The unusual monsters add a lot to it so I'm gonna play the other two Witcher games next year. As for Elden Ring, I've already played through it three times and I'm looking forward to the fourth playthrough with the DLC.
