Gamescom 2026 delivered plenty for simulation fans! From Transport Fever 3 and LEGO Skylines to Prospera, Tropico 7 and RollerCoaster Tycoon: Wonderworks, in this video, I’ve picked 15 simulation, city-building, transport and management games to watch, with trailers, gameplay previews and my thoughts on what makes each game worth following. Looking for upcoming PC games, release dates and new additions to your Steam wishlist? Start here!
this Gamescom roundup covers railway networks, industrial production, theme parks, frontier towns and even a city built on a giant space whale.
I absolutely love Transport Fever 2, so TF3 is the game I’m most excited about—if they nail it, it could become my favourite game. Having also spent plenty of time in Cities: Skylines, Cities: Skylines 2 and Tropico 6, I’m keen to see what these new city builders and management games bring to the table.
We also explore the trailers for Construction Simulator: Evolution, Bus Simulator 27, Train Sim World 7, Wild West Pioneers, Warfactory, Into the Wind, Seafarer: The Ship Sim, Beyond These Stars, Star Trek: Outposts Unknown and Road Truckers: New Beginning.

Put a portion of Transport Fever 3 on me, please. 🤣🤣
Train Sim World is just a money grab each year now. Nothing improves in the game and you're paying top price for three more routes not an overhauled game. I think TSW3 was the last time it actually had a decent upgrade.
TF3 and Tropico for me. Both games are looking like they SHOULD be real improvements on the previous editions of their series. But sometimes you just never know until you get the game on your system.
The Lego game looks really cool
How far simulation games have come
I wanna play the Lego game!
Tropico 7 could be awesome! Love that series and 6 was a lot of fun
I loved RCT when I was younger so I’m hoping it’s a good one this time! Doesn’t look…. Great in the previews 😬
Lego skylines??? Oh my goodness
I’m a little worried about the map sizes for TF3 as it looks like they might be reducing the largest map sizes because it’s hard for them to process every citizen. Which I don’t think is the right way to do it for a transport logistics game
Let me know which game you’re most looking forward to!
