Very impressive and beautiful, in the best traditions of dramatic Chinese battles, a fight in the rain, like a graceful dance.

Environmental Combat & Equipment System Suggestions

I really like the environmental interaction shown at 6:50—specifically, using the wooden column to spring around for an attack. This is a great mechanic, and I'd love to see more of this kind of environmental usage beyond just columns.

More Environmental Attack Ideas:

1. Table Slide Kick: Jump onto a table and perform a sliding kick forward.

2. Chair Leap Attack: Leap atop a chair to execute a powerful aerial attack that can stagger 2 enemies at once (or 4 enemies if equipped with a special bracelet—see equipment system below).

However, these environmental skills should not be available from the start. Players should earn points to unlock them first, adding a sense of progression and reward.

Equipment System Suggestion (Inspired by Kung Fu Strike: The Warriors Rise)

For those unfamiliar, Kung Fu Strike: The Warriors Rise (released in 2012) featured an equipment system where equipping certain items granted special abilities. For example:

Equipping the Armor-Piercing Bracelet added extra damage when breaking an enemy's defense (e.g., Level 2 adds +30 damage).

My Suggestion for This Game:

If a player equips a specific bracelet, the spring-around-column skill could become significantly more powerful—for instance, dealing X times more damage and consuming less stamina.

This would encourage players to experiment with different equipment loadouts to maximize their environmental combat effectiveness.

Final Thought

Kung Fu Strike: The Warriors Rise has a lot of great design ideas that modern game developers should look into. I hope the team draws inspiration from it to create fresh, innovative mechanics while building on what worked so well in that classic title.

NICE!!!

The new battle mechanics—especially the slow-motion effects and dynamic camera angles—add a fresh and exhilarating feel to the combat. Great work! That said, I have a couple of suggestions for further improvement:

1. Stamina Cost for Quick-Backward Dodge (e.g., the one at 5:35)

The quick-backward dodge move should consume stamina. Without this cost, players could spam it too easily, which would reduce the challenge and make combat feel less strategic.

2. Stamina Bar for Mini-Bosses (e.g., the one at 6:26)

It would be great if mini-bosses also had a visible stamina bar. If they exhaust themselves with too many heavy attacks, their stamina should deplete, leaving them vulnerable. This would create rewarding windows of opportunity for players to counterattack while the boss recovers. Tougher bosses could simply have longer stamina bars or their stamina bar recover more quickly, to maintain difficulty progression.

3. Magic Bar for Sorcerer-Type Mini-Bosses

I'd like to suggest a magic/resource system for sorcerer-type mini-bosses, similar to the reload mechanics found in Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.

In that strategy game, heavy units are equipped with special weapon slots that fire multiple missiles in a volley. However, after each volley, the weapon enters a cooldown phase, indicated by a reload bar that slowly fills up to show when the next shot is ready.

This same design could be applied to sorcerer enemies:

Magic Bar / Reload System: Sorcerer bosses could unleash powerful multi-shot magic attacks (similar to missile barrages) against the player.

Cooldown Phase: After casting, their magic bar would need to recover or "reload" before they can attack again.

Visual Indicator: A visible bar slowly filling up would clearly signal to players when the boss is about to unleash another barrage, adding a layer of strategic anticipation.

Player Opportunity: This creates a clear window for players to go on the offensive while the boss is vulnerable during the cooldown phase.

This mechanic would make sorcerer encounters more tactical and rewarding, rather than purely damage-sponge battles.

Looks so good till gameplay,, you need more on that, the fight animation, camera angle and repeated slom motion, – the combat looks like you war playing in 2x,, it will ruin the vibe with character, it seems likhe the character doesn't have any kind of Weight… Plzzz work on that… Then definitely I will add it to my wishlist

Not again. If you eat your favourite food seven days a week everyday, you will bound to lose interest. Too much wuxia. Please make other genre since you have the wherewithal of making good games. Take a break from wuxia.

I know its not wuxia but this just made me realize wing chun in a game would feel hilariously satisfying. Imagine rapid punching dudes in the face or body and denying all their counterattacks only to rapidly punch their face immediately after again hahahaha

I'm Chinese, so you know I'm not a Westerner trying to bash on a Chinese theme game. And I find this game quite bad. The fights are particularly generic and bland. The only thing nice about this game is the scenery, which I can just watch in YouTube. I don't need a game to show me that

Eastern games piling up one after another. I cant keep up. Western studios need to learn a thing or 2 when it come to producing games of such quality.
