Fuck atreus in any GOW game, who tf thought it was ok to let kratos have a mfkn kid & then his bitch end up dying..and making him docile like fkn cow.. tha' fkn developer team should've been fkn fired!!.. They should've let this game stay solo..like Batman.. you see they didn't put no gotdam kids in fkn game..tf wrong wit' chall & this give 'em kid to raise while his tries to fight mythical fkn beings . 🤦 Who come up wit dis shit?!!
You know what would be cool? A time skip where Kratos returns with a tan (the cursed ashes finally disappear from his skin and his tattoo has almost faded). Tanned Kratos and a returning adult Atreus with tales from foreign lands. You get a father-son duo of a Spartan and a Viking wreaking havoc in Egypt.
You can switch characters mid play to solve puzzles and to add variety to combat.
Kratos is focused on Strength and Aggressive plays with Brutal Executions, while Atreus is focused on Ranged, Magic and Transformation gimmicks.
Kratos can smash through walls, while Atreus can lift magically sealed doors/gates.
There can also be a special space that offers challenges to each champion. Something like Niffleheim or Valhalla, or the old Greek saga GOW challenges of the Gods.
I don't understand all the hype surrounding the sixth installment and its connection to Egyptian mythology and Kratos's new weapon. If this is true, then in my opinion, this part will be a failure. Egyptian mythology doesn't have powerful, heroic epics with battles, weapons, mysteries, leading figures, or true warriors. They only have mummification after death and the practice of magic, and I don't see the point of mummification after death. There was the greatest empire, the first civilization in the world, from which all other civilizations were derived: the Sumerian civilization, mentioned in the fifth part, Ragnarok, where Kratos spoke about it. Then there was the great Assyrian Empire, which came after the Sumerian civilization, and also the Babylonian civilization. It's worth noting that the Assyrian Empire and the Babylonian civilization are mentioned in the Bible. Their achievements, sciences, secrets, cultures, monuments, heritage, wars, and true heroic legends against injustice and evil are still remembered and studied to this day in developed countries like America, Britain, Germany, Russia, and others..

It would be cool if the plot started with Atreus and after a quarter or halfway playthrough Atreus and Kratos find each other in Egypt and rest of playthrough switches to Kratos.

If i had to guess i think god of war 6 will come out at the launch of ps6. The marketing just makes sense there. But as for story i think something drive kratos to egypt, and not until kratos is in real trouble is where atreus will return to help his father and finish the story but that could either be the second or third iteration of the Egypt games.

Know what would be dope? If kratos meets a kid in Egypt around the same age as Atreus and attempts to help the boy as part of the main story quest until realizing it goes against the God he's sworn to be. While kratos defeats whatever end game God is there, the boy swears vengeance. And in the next god of war game involving an adult Atreus, the boy also becomes an adult and fights alongside Atreus as like a brother only to realize his father was the man he swore vengeance against thus he betrays Atreus and ultimately Atreus ends up having to kill him. He then goes on wondering if he's becoming the monster his father avoided being.
To be completely honest…I think kratos' story is good the way it is just remake the old games
