After Mafia 3 I promised myself to never preorder but after that beta I was like… "Yeah… Fuck it"
Good recap. Enjoyed the demo but a bug during a trial made me delete the game immediately. There are too many good games to be dealing with game breaking bugs. So iam gonna wait for a review before buying.
I’m hoping we can start a new sub genre in the future and call it a Shellslike.
For a 50 dollar game it worth it. It a less stressful game compared to nioh and Elden Ring for me its a fare combat game i like there no stamina for running and dodging. The graphics are outstanding. This is a type of game you need when your done playing video games online.
Not bad but with no Stamina that's too Arcade! I hope they will put back Stamina and not fkd up with the game! Anyway I'm waiting for the king to release, Lords of the Fallen 2 👑❤️💪
Bro, when I got the plat for the first one 😂😂 the no shell was almost unbearable. But then second one drops on my bday lol
Definitely the monster design the presentation of the game looks amazing and yes that also happened to me when I try to run the trial I had two enemies spawn then after that nothing else happened what would like to know if the data from the beta you play if you can transfer it when you play the main game but overall the game is definitely amazing.
I enjoyed the first one and mostly enjoyed the beta but a big problem for me is knowing where to go, I uninstalled it after beating a bunch of bosses, cleansing beacons and getting eggs or whatever, I might’ve bought it if it had that directional wind mechanic from ghost of Tsushima or something but I won’t because I just cannot be bothered with being lost and having to look up guides to know where to go/what to do, I find this design completely worthless because im not immersed im just annoyed and taken out of the game to figure out how to continue playing the game🤦♂️

If you are souls and souls like fan yes ofc but if not well not really. I was very enjoy mortal 1 and ofc pre order deluxe edition mortal 2 cant wait to play it.
played beta for 30 min , closed the game and bought the deluxe edition

i have dark souls elden ring sekiro fatigue, all these games look and feel the same. if i click in the middle of the video somewhere and you told me im looking at dark souls i would have believed
Way better than the first game. Was it perfect thou? No. Cold Symetrie's biggest strenght is the atmosphere in my opinion.
Anyone else not able to shoot enemies below you while your on a ledge or land bridge? I really wanted to take advantage of that. The projectiles just hit an invisible wall in front of me. Hope they fix that. It is neat they rendered actual projectiles though.

Another dark souls clone, but slower. Looks great though.
Elden ring is extremely overrated. The other Souls games did it much better without needing a copy-pasted open world. The combat in Mortal shell 1 was horrendous.
The Gun gimmick is too strong, the Ubisoft style map where POI's are layed out for you instead of natural exploration, Dungeons are all samish, everything does 1,2,3 on repeat.
Its a total miss for me. Combat felt good non the less but didnt feel rewarding since its all the same combo's.
Ive played about 33 soulslikes and Mortal shell 1 is a favorite but 2 isnt for me unfortunatly

I’ve been playing the beta and overall absolutely love it! However there are a few bugs which is to be expected for a beta. The main issue I have is on the base ps5 there are performance issues. I really hope they can fix those!
I preordered it. The beta was super fun. A few bugs but nothing major. I hope it’s a 40 hour game. If it’s 20, I’ll be disappointed!
