I was soooo excited for Steam Frame. Been waiting and willing to pay whatever all year. Now it’s finally coming, and I can’t afford it cuz I’m paying off surgery for my dog 😢 he tore his damn ACL!
Steam frame is just not any better than the quest 3.. so its a no go for me
Why should it be usefull for Valve to give more VR channels a review unit? The most positive reviews came from general tech channels, that only compared the TOS of Valve and Meta while reviewing the actual capabilities for the main usecase out of the Q3 comparison context. Cas, BMFVR and Roadtovr as Vr experts, did, what is most useful to an engaged VR audience. They compared it to its main competitor – esp. the pcvr streaming usecase. They all come to very similiar conclusions: it is very comparable to Q3 with VD and a good connection – particially even giving hints, that the Q3 is slightly ahead in clarity and brightness i.e. I would have preferred a Steam Frame, that gave me other reasons than not beeing a Meta product. Don't get me wrong: Valve'S TOS is much better indeed, but i really would have liked a clear upgrade from my Q3/P4/PSVR2 – especially for this price.
